We did not stay with asure for every long and changed over to a system that can handle multi-state and more advanced payrolls.

I was with Asure for over 5 years.   When it came time to move to a different provider (due to the issues above), I was penalized a full year's payroll fees because it was deemed that I didn't provide enough notice to them.

Too many errors, too much time to set up new account, issuing payroll on wrong account, encoding checks with incorrect account #s, and issuing payroll and deducting payroll 3 days ahead of actual check date.  

In our experience, everytime we called in the person that could help was "in a meeting" and "would call us back in 15 min" just to never get that call.

We still have ourtstadning penalties and intrest from late filings that they have not resolved.

Quality service, on time and accurate payroll bi-monthly and quick professional response we received whenever we have questions or need resolution.

I could not run my own annual worker's comp payroll report.

At the end of the year I was informed by the state they had not filed any of our withholdings for the entire year.

We vetted a dozen or more other options/apps/services/companies and Asure is literally the only one that works for our complicated payroll.

Customer service was a hit and miss for getting people in a timely manner.

It is easy to use for a small business, but was very much out of compliance with multi-state taxation.

I reached out multiple times to management and was denied any type of concession.

They could not handle me having to pay taxes in two states and took over a year to work out all the unpaid tax notices I received.

now im trapped and being told i will have a 500 or more termination fee when still to this day im not paying the taxes on this payroll when i should be. If i had employees that would have left because of this payroll comapany.

User interface was way behind current standards.

It was an overly complicated process and almost no support.

Also, the need to "babysit" status from submission to payroll completion each time is not ok.

Asure has different platforms where payroll, timekeeping, and benefits can be integrated together; there are different layers of service from do it yourself to full service where asure handles everything.

I find in mildly annoying and really since I have done out office payroll for years it seems as though it just adds work instead of relieving.

Was not able to provide us with an actual HR person.

The QBO integration is also nowhere near as customizable as we'd like.

Overall we have had a great experience with the company and the software.   if we make any mistakes on our payroll they are more than willing to help us fix it and mistakes are pretty easy to correct on the user end as well.
