We use ZipRecruiter in addition to Indeed, LinkedIn and Glassdoor for recruiting new hires into our business.
ZipRecruiter has a a very easy to use platform. We don't use it as our main job board -- typically most of our applicants come in through Indeed or LinkedIn. However we have found that ZipRecruiter is great for very specific for niche related jobs, such as specific physicians or assistants.
It is a little clunky -- the interface is not very minimalistic so it can be a little much to look at times but the functionality makes up for the appearance.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our platform, Kaitlyn! --TC

Great for reviewing candidates that are not on Linkedin and new options for sourcing.
The simplicity of posting a job makes it easy to use and teaching my team to post and monitor posting.
Would be great to be able to create just name, title, and phone number to make a call list for my team members as opposed to building a list with the resume.
Thank you for providing your awesome feedback, Ryan! --TC

Great can’t complain for the most part! We use this and LinkedIn
Super easy to use! Makes hiring so much easier and allows you to find the best of the best. It’s also easy to communicate through the website
Sometimes it attracts terrible candidates. Sometimes we waste time and the automated side of the website isn’t always on track.

Did not find it very useful and liked other resources better.
Easy to use tool to find job openings in the area. Helpful in providing contacts for job search and when looking for employees.
Unfortunately LinkedIn provided easier solution when it came to looking for employment or for finding employees.
Thank you for your review. ~DW

One of the best platforms for recruitment. Features are comparable to Indeed and LinkedIn
ZipRecruiter is great for fast paced recruiting. Qualifying filters are very helpful. I like tyke feature of scheduling interviews in the platform.
Checking candidate background can be tedious and anyone can apply on jobs, including people who do not have the relevant background.

I just returned to Linkedin.
They have an app to download in your cellphone
You start receiving several emails when may be they don't match your research. And also the software doesn't save most of the information, so you have to load everything again. The offers are also not so good, but much better than indeed.
Thanks for your download and feedback, Alejandro! Please reach out to us at support@ziprecruiter.com if you have any questions. Our agents are available 24/7 and can show you how to view your application status, customize your job alerts, add references & a cover letter, and answer any other questions you may have. As with any hiring programs, this product was easy to use, very organized and useful.
For our company, I have better luck with Indeed and LinkedIn. It's a great service, just not for our industry.

I enjoy it, but prefer other major recruiting sites liked LinkedIn for finding better quality jobs.
I enjoy how easy it is to apply to several different companies, quickly.
Lacks the ability to save my responses so I end up repeating myself over and over again.

Costs too much. Did not get a response from any employers and there was no easily apply like Indeed has
Had good job listings but took forever to fill out ease of use not good.
Costed too much money for the value. I would rather use Indeed for free or Careerbuilder Monster Dice and LinkedIn.
Hi Krissy, Thank you for your review as we greatly appreciate your valuable feedback. We are very sorry to hear of any less than pleasant experience while utilizing ZipRecruiter for your job search. Overall experience is good so far. I like the feature that ZipRecruiter sends me job opportunities daily on my email so that I don't have to open the website but can glance through the available jobs from email itself.
I liked how ZipRecruiter sends me job opportunities based on my preferred areas of interest as well locations I've selected. It is hard to find jobs on other portals but quite easy on ZipRecruiter.
Sometimes ZipRecruiter does not show the salary range for the job opportunities. This feature is available in LinkedIn.
Thank you for sharing your feedback with us! We do encourage our employers to list their salary range as we understand this is very important for candidates to know. We wish you the best of luck with your job search! --TC

It helped me in recruiting for my company and finding eligible candidates.
It's not as good as LinkedIn or networking.
Hello Yasmeen, Thank you for submitting this review, as your feedback is very important to us! We know how important it is for you to make those hires quickly and efficiently and we are sorry to hear that you feel as though you did not get the best visibility among the right kind of candidates. We do have filters that you can apply to your job ads to help screen candidates and I would be more than happy to personally walk you through those the next time you have hiring needs! I've heard responses frequently from follow up emails, but no good useful news yet.
I like it integrates with linkedin and is easily accessible for future employees and businesses alike.
More integration code sources would be nice to recruit on my own website thru an HTML coding.
We will absolutely pass this feedback along, Korbin! Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. =) --TC

We're getting applicants, but not always high quality ones. I turn to LinkedIn ads for high quality applicants.
ZipRecruiter is very easy to teach to someone when they are learning how to post job ads. I like that they have the feature to rate and set up interviews right from the software, but we don't use it since we have something else that we already use. It's user-friendly and I think that is really important.
My team doesn't always understand why some of our ads do very poorly even though they look exactly like the ads that did well a week or two prior. They have also made some changes in requirement for the ads, and not everyone knew the new regulations. I think communication from Zip could be better. The in-congruencies really frustrate my team when they don't have the time to be frustrated. We will pay for an ad, and the ad won't do well, or Zip will suggest the same applicants to apply every time. We need new applicants, not the same ones that we've already interviewed.

Zip recruiter integrates your linkedin account to the job board. It takes you directly to your linkedin profile where you can apply for jobs directly using your profile instead of writing another resume and submitting another profile.
They are only available in the US and not in other parts of the world

overall, a decent platform but i think better for job applicants than employers
being able to search jobs and apply with 1 click. Also the ability to post to multiple sites at once is great
expensive and recommendations aren't always the best. Other platforms like linkedin and indeed are still more useful for us
Hello, Thank you for sharing your review and we value your feedback. We are glad you liked the one click apply from a job seeker perspective it makes applying for a job easier. I understand your concern with pricing and we have hiring specialist who can go over plans with you and get a reasonable cost for posting your jobs. I've landed two of my last jobs from ZipRecruiter! I prefer the UX & features better than LinkedIn, but LinkedIn has the network connecting piece which is really helpful.
The "one-tap apply" feature, notifications when your application is viewed, as well as the read/unread blue dot that lets you know you've previously viewed a job and the "delete" options (LinkedIn doesn't have either of these - very annoying!)
The job recommendations aren't always super relevant to my experience or previous jobs I've applied to.

Okay. But it is a very rudimentary tool unlike LinkedIn jobs.
Job alerts are timely and usually relevant. Job search engine gives relevant results
No similar candidate profile search , sometimes I get irrelevant job alerts. Also, we cannot see demographic of candidates who applied to the job postings.

Overall good experience but I find Indeed and Linkedin much better.

It's pretty good for low caliber candidates, generalists. But it's not good for getting pedigree candidates. We have better results with LinkedIn and Indeed.
Job postings are easy to do and easy to renew.
Candidates who submit resumes are usually not a fit and, the ones that ZipRecruiter recommends are even worse. IT's a huge waste of time to go through applications. We have better luck when we search the resume database instead.

I liked most that users are notified when their application has been viewed. It's very disappointing to send out hundreds of appliation with little or no feedback from anyone. Ziprecruiter notifies you any time your application has been viewed and also lets you know when you've been viewed more than other applicants. Even if you don't get the interview it's nice to know you're making some progress.
I feel like the user profiles could be more closely linked to linkedin profiles. Ziprecruiter should be able to update user profiles based on the chagnes in their linkedin profiles.
We really appreciate your feedback! We understand how unsettling it can be to receive little/no feedback. We like to keep our job seekers as updated as possible! We wish you the best. --TC
