Because we are a teaching facility, we wanted a system our students could access easily on campus and off, yet still have access to only certain portions of the system.

They told us the monthly fee would go up in July of 2023 and then each year annually

They charged us upwards of 1400 dollars and refunded only 207 to this day and refuse to credit us any more.  .

We signed up in March 2023 and ended the agreement in June of 2023 before using any of it.

I bought a practice with only paper records so initially implementing all our charges including inventory was tedious. But now its done and functions seamlessly.

What I did not like about IDEXX Neo was the serious lack of sharing medical records capabilities, inability to put in prescriptions on the chart with refill capabilities.

At the same time, not having an editable document is what is best in the real world.

The ease of access from any location allows for doctors to work on notes from home, access accounts when on-call for emergencies, or out on the farm for large animals.  

Go to the most recent clinical event and see what the doctor has written and explain to the client what the next steps are.

Accounting has been a nightmare, and we spend a lot of time having to print and fax or individually download several parts of a record to e-mail to regular veterinarians which defeats the point of being paper light, nor is it a time savings.

Love the cloud base system, I don't have to stay late doing records.   Plus, if someone runs into me at the store and can pull it up to put them on the appt schedule and know that I am not over booked.

It is a pain when it has issues or isn't working because then you can't do anything on it.

Financial tab is confusing as invoices are automatically generated for prepayments and not just a receipt.

Neo has so many tools that I'm still discovering, such as appointment type breakdowns to see where/how your revenue is generated, so one can then target those areas or emphasize others moving forward.

You can't tell what is unposted or unfinished. If you get a prescription up for client the receptionist can't tell if the client got the prescription and didn't pay or if it is up and ready in the drawer When clients respond to our emails we send from Neo it goes to some email that is not our account.

I felt that though it was lacking in some areas Neo was relatively simple and easy to use.

Easy to use for new employees and the constant upgrade.

I have been asking support about implementing this for years but have not gotten anywhere.  

I would say that is the biggest disadvantage.

Having Neo definitely allowed us to continue and push through the pandemic curbside.

Buttons are easily found, and software has a very up to date appearance.

Neo keeps coming out with improvements and taking feedback from users to make it better.  

The reports are very helpful for managing the business.

Once everyone got the hang of it Neo went pretty smooth, the users from cornerstone dragged at the beginning.

Its at least current vets as we had issues with old vets still in the list, but you can still pick all the vets, and some vets will only do one day a few weeks at various sites.

The perfect integration with our PMS system, the immediate diary synchronisation, the flagging of client mismatch and the absolute customisability.

The ease the clients have, the fact it can be done after hours at the owners convenience, reduces the number of phone calls allowing the CSRs to help the customers in front of them.

Average as I would have thought that it would have been more vibrant and catchy in appearance and functionality

She made sure we were ready before going live and answered all of our questions.

I have not come across anything I do not like about Vetstoria currently and feel this will make an improvement for us.

The features within vetstoria that I liked are the test function so you can clearly see what your clients will be seeing and the journey they will take booking the appointment, the reminders that follow and even how easy it is to cancel.
