My biggest complaint is that they will not let me type in a date when doing date entry for birthdays vaccine reminders. It is a drop down calendar and it is horrible.

I love that this software is accessible anywhere. I also really like the ease of use and the ability to be truly paper free.

There are several things that I love about IDEXX Neo. First, the ease of use with integrated training is great.

Idexx neo customer support has always been polite and helpful trying the best they can to resolve problems. Can use any computers you want- mac or PC.

It's perpetually updated for no extra cost and it's very inexpensive. Those are great but their customer service is really excellent.

Neo provides a greater efficiency that what I was previously using. It is self intuitive how to use the software and my technician was able to start using it easily.

I also love that there is no down time for updates, as the system is cloud based-this also eliminates the need for expensive servers and their replacement.

No whiteboard built in, editing of estimates/invoices, overwriting when other users are in the record.

Lastly, integration with other software is very limited. Software for client communication and education that is compatible with Neo is almost non-existent.

No standardized way to input phone numbers so searching a client by phone number is impossible.

We knew they were ready then. Dr's struggle the most as they do not regularly interact with the system so they struggle to find the info they are looking for.

Overall SFS is amazing, easy to use, easy to implement and our entire team really loves it.

Charging has improved due to better tracking of procedures and will improve even further once we use the integration function to link SmartFlow to our practice management software.

Customer service has been great with prompt resolution of gliches (most of which have been caused at our end by the way).

We also believe the risk of error from not being able to read someone's handwriting on the paper sheets is eliminated using SFS.

This is an enormous time saver. Also the templates that we use for specific cases like pancreatitis save a lot of time and help patients get needed medications faster and more efficiently.

Challenging to tailor some of the sheets/applications to suit our own clinic. Tech support is difficult in emergency situations as we don't have direct numbers - just emails.

Customer service is wonderful, any questions or concerns are answered right away and they are with you every step of the way through training and implementation to use of the program.

Overall I really liked Smart Flow. I can see how it would help big clinics and referall centers.

The software is very intuitive and while there is a learning curve; the more you use it the more you learn what you can do with it (read what it is capable of).

Also the integration with Cubex is hit or miss - but I think the down fall is more on Cubex end.

The iPad combined with desktop interface has made it a dream to add patients and update or amend patient information.

Emergency Veterinarian

Typically the integration between EzyVet and Cubex works very well and therefore saves times and captures charges. Treatment sheets automatically are saved to the EMR at discharge as a PDF file.
