Payroll reports took our bookkeeper an extra 1-2 hours each payroll to compile the information; this added cost just made us move to a stand-alone payroll software in yr 2.    When we realized the only use was to hold our legacy job travelers, it was time to extract that information and discontinue the software.

In the 8 months of using JobBoss, there was a certain learning curve as with all new software, learning how tasks are stacked to certain functionalities.  

I liked the fact JobBOSS² allows me to follow the job status in real-time from the work center update.

JobBOSS² makes it very fast to get work done as compared to other softwares, There are fewer steps required to complete the work that needs to be done.

In the end, QB integration never worked, forcing us to move all inventory/ordering, etc., back to QB.

We really like that we can have multiple windows open at the same time and be working on lots of different things at once.

Project scheduling was difficult to deal with changes and led to consent managing the software, which took just too much time.   

The reports are difficult to interpret, particularly profit and loss reports - some of the numbers just don't make sense.

There was a lot of data entry that had to be done to get the system working correctly for our company.

There was a bit of a learning curve, especially for those who are not familiar with similar software or who don't have a strong background in manufacturing processes.

I believe it was a significant upgrade in terms of the job costing accuracy for our company.

It is not bloated and the workflow is logical for a JobShop environment.

It does a great job of capturing all of the work flow in a manufacturing business.

Really help with shop metrics for individual performance.  

Keeping track of jobs that our employees are working on is easy with JobBOSS².

Even after well over a year of working with them, we could never get the QuickBooks integration to work correctly.

I do not believe you are able to upload a csv file as a user or admin.

Next, getting information in and out of the system quickly is a huge benefit.

It took over a year to get working, then the next year, trying to get the QB integration to work.

The QuickBooks integration for Enterprize just does not work.)
