I.e tagging options, discounts etc) I like to blend my store inventory in with the rest of the consigned inventory and it has been a bit of a challenge to find the sweet spot for my store inventory in the system.

The reporting tools are especially valuable because they give clear insight into sales performance, inventory aging, and overall profitability without needing to export data elsewhere.

Sometimes IT support responds quickly (within about 30 minutes), but other times it can take days and multiple follow-ups to get a response. When you’re running a store and something isn’t working, that delay can be frustrating.

The system brings structure and transparency to a business model that can otherwise get complicated fast, and that alone makes it incredibly valuable.

I like how clearly it separates store split, consignor items, and inventory so it’s easy to stay organized and keep accurate records.

Getting the credit card machine ordered was a bit laborious and took a lot of time to get it in hand.

The Simple Consign team has expanded the software to dovetail beautifully with Shopify to help me create a seamless integration between my bricks and mortar store and my online sales.

The biggest issue for doing online sales with Shopify was that indicating a single item was available online required 4 separate mouse clicks, and that is per item.  

A full size receipt should print out as the small ones barely have enough room for credit card users to sign and the vendor copy is even smaller and difficult for them to save for there records.

Good experience, although I find simple consign is not updating any of the design flaws or developing more options with the buy outright system.

Having one individual from SimpleConsign triage issues, train, ensure account specific issues were addressed, and ensure all the ‘boxes were checked’ would have prevented extra work at my end.

Custom reports are easy to create and download as a CSV to use a spreadsheet program to create better forms. Since we also hold online auctions, the custom forms can be used to create a dataset to upload to the auction site.

They also have a lot of features that have made running my consignment shop so much easier.

the software needs to also focus on the buy outright option more.

It makes it easy to manage our various consignors and vendors and the real time access to sales is a huge bonus for our vendors.

This system is user friendly and helps from the point of sale to the pay out of consignors.

Vendors do not have to wait until end-of-month accounting is complete to know where there account stands by giving them real time account access.

People are nice and helpful. If you want a computer based option, it's inexpensive and will do the job, but with less bells and whistles (and reporting features) than other consignement systems.

ConsignPro offers great and thorough training conferences where you can learn so much that will help you to be more profitable.

I like the reporting format and the ability to access any analytical data I need to continue making marketing decisions for my shop.

No flexibility on print font size, etc.  Scanner use isn't compatible with printing multiple tags because the barcode doesn't print on multiple squares.   And, that's just some of the frustration.  

It also does not offer all of the types of reports I need, which again, forces me to fill in a lot of spreadsheets manually to get the information I need.   

Too many work-arounds required for dealing with purchased inventory and printing tags that are not the standard long colored tags.    

To safe ourselves frustration, we just do a hard reset (on/off button) to arrange all the bits and the bites and things run smoothly.

Help is usually immediately available during our business hours, and I have found the staff to be friendly, smart, patient and very responsive.   Since our charity consignment store is run by an all-volunteer staff of nearly 100 folks who are mostly not-so-tech-savvy,  the user-friendliness of the system was also of importance to us, and we have found it fairly easy to learn.  

I love  ConsignPro because it does everything I need so I can focus on my customers, consignors and my shop.
