What is SMS Valet?

SMS Valet is a cloud-based valet solution designed to help hospitals, hotels, residential communities, and malls manage parking spaces for guests. Key features include vehicle check-ins, instant messaging, electronic validation, surveys, real-time sales tracking, reporting, and digital payments.

The application allows staff members to collect visitors' mobile numbers, assign numbers to reusable plastic key tags, and send welcome text messages with pick-up instructions upon arrival. Guests can make vehicle retrieval requests via the links provided in text messages, and make payments using a mobile device. Plus, the solution lets marketers handle advertisements by embedding video links for upcoming events, shopping discounts, or promotions, in order to enhance selling opportunities for brands.

SMS Valet comes with a damage reporting feature, which helps users capture and note pre-existing vehicle damages with time, date stamp, and color indicators on guest tickets. Administrators can use the self service portals to monitor the number of cars checked-in, view customer survey results, and generate employee shift reports. The solution also enables hospitals to collect visitor feedback, evaluate patient satisfaction, and gain insight into facility operations.

Pros
SMS Valet is easy to use no matter your technologically capacity. It has simplified and made our operations so much more efficient. It has everything you would need in the valet industry. They offer any report you would need that you can customize as well.

Cons
The only con would be not being able to set up new locations by yourself. Although there customer service and employees are always available to help you last minute.

Overall SMS has been a great experience and we will be using it for the rest of our existence. The customer support has continued to be great with the growth of the company.

Pros
This is a premium product that our guest love at all of our locations. It captures more data to back the revenue than any other product. SMS is extremely easy and allows us to give our clients a better experience by providing a fast and secure way to pay for request their car.

Cons
If there was one thing missing it would definitely be the lack of the iOS app. I know the Apple store royalties are not completely fair. But 99% of our employees have an iPhone and it would help if they could use the app on their personal devices.

Pros
Using SMS Valet really allows us to provide an added level of customer service to our customers and bring their exiting wait time down to a minimum. The amount of reports available for management to use is also a great part of SMS valet.

Cons
SMS valet is best for slower accounts/locations. It can be somewhat of a hassle when used in locations where it is very busy.

For myself and our team SMS Valet has been a game changer! We are starting year 5 of using the service and I don't want to even think about running The Valet without the software. It has given us an opportunity in The Great North West to separate ourselves from other Valet companies.

Pros
The ease in which to use the program. I love having the ability to tailor the software to what works best and easier for our team.

Cons
When the system gets overloaded and it slows things down for us in the car check in process. This happens few and far between. The company does a good job of alerting you when there is a issue.

I've been very happy with the product and the team standing behind it. I've called support before and was greeted by the CEO. I havent met many CEOs willing to take support calls on a day off. Thats just the culture there. Everyone chips in and they get things done. I'm grateful for the edge they have given my business and the friendships I've made in the process.

Pros
The ease of use. It makes my team, my client and their guests lives much easier.

Cons
I dont have any issues with the software. I've enjoyed the enhancements over the past 6 years. Seems like they're getting better every week.
