Once everything was set up perfectly and we got used to working with the software, we were delighted.

VRS quickly imported existing reservation data and we were able to setup recurring cleans and other housekeeping activities quickly.

Task lists make staff accountable, being able to use key words and tags has been great in helping as reminders of special requests or guest itineraries.

The cleanings automatically populate when we get a new booking, which then automatically goes to our cleaners to accept or decline, and it all flows from there. And if we need to customize something in a particular way, that's easy too.

Before using this program I was doing all of my scheduling on a large homemade desk calendar.  

We used Tsheets before which worked really nicely with Quickbooks and had very easy and friendly customer service if you needed help.

This is just an overall solid software that does everything we need to keep operations and task scheduling from getting out of control.  

It's a really powerful software with really friendly support, so it doesn't get much better than that!

They even have analytics to see how your Guidebooks are performing.

I would not know how to being to create my own, so I would have to pay someone to create one for me.

The absolute best thing is being able to start with one guidebook for free which allows you to get a feel for the software to see if it works for you first.  

There is nothing that I dislike about these guidebooks.

This guidebook is a great way to show my guests everything they need to know about my property, as well as my recommendations for things to do nearby.  

Logical layout, and it combines property-specific information with general area information, while leaving you in control.

You’re able to provide a low cost professional guidebook with recommendations, how to videos and lots more.

We have used Hostfully as our online and printed guidebook platform since we started renting our condo five years ago.

There is no need to rewrite a manual as you can easy select which items you would like to use for the different properties.

We have to manually rearrange all of our books each time a new recommendation is added :-(

I like that it is an easy way to create and share house rules, check-in information, property specific info.  

This is not a fault of Hostfully but more of the rules when third part booking sites like VRBO interact with them.

My guests love the Guidebbok and hve been using it for information about the house and activities in the area

It serves as a house manual, as well as a guidebook for our recommendations for the area.

The only thing I wish worked easier is the categorization of cards when I find them.

It can seem busy with the multiple icons and house rules.

I understand the chat section and how the "Help" works now, but at the time, it was not as obvious and frustrating at times.  

During covid we did away with our old fashioned folders and moved to digital guidebooks.

I created my guidebook when it was a free feature, and now it costs money.

Some of the images and copy were too small.

I wish it were easier to create a guidebook in Spanish for non-native English speakers.

If you prefer something slightly better and more control with the interface, then this might not be the product you would like.
