Being cloud based and not being tied down to a specific desktop is very useful. The ability to output to Revit is a fantastic time saver.
Sometimes the error warnings may not be pertinent to the project for some reason, but there is not an option to hide or turn these off.
Like every program, there are tricks a tips to increase productivity and ease of use. The friendly and helpful staff are more than willing to help you adapt and progress with your operation of H2X.
Can be a bit 'clunky' at times, Unknown errors pop up from time to time. No confirmation of errors in design mode.
The software is easy to use and the Customer service is fantastic. They are ready to help with quick responses.
There are no warnings within the planning tab advising of the potential to move .pdf backgrounds within the H2X model, nor is there an option (that we found) to lock the .pdf back grounds into place.
H2X has proved to be a useful and powerful tool to add to our office. The basic operation of the program is easy to adopt and the learning curve is reasonably linear.
However once that is understood it is very easy to use. It also sometimes has a tendency to lag which can be frustrating at times.
Excellent service and excited to see what the future additions will bring provide.

It is great that i can get a grad/intern to use it and get going relatively quickly, then i can come in and tweak to get the final answers, i don't have to go through the ins and outs of calculations.

I liked how the foundations were the same for Autobid mechanical. I started there and then crossed over to autobid sheetmetal and its was a like for like change which was amazing.
The updates are often are buggy leaving you with unexplained errors. Version 2017 had enough issues that the new 2018v2 version is a stand alone version requiring you to start all over.
AutoBid has great functionality and has been easy to implement. Ease of reporting at great level has also been an asset to track and cost control.
These glitches are constantly coming up, and not getting fixed. Our company has lost millions of dollars of work due to this software because of major "bugs" in the software.
AutoBid SheetMetal is fantastic product to use and easy to setup which is far superior to AutoBid Mechanical.
Off the start i would waste my time with tech support who would eventually fix the issue temporarily (usually for a day or two ) then you would get a new error code.
I have been using AutoBid since it was a DOS program and I have enjoyed the updates as they have made the product more reliable and easier to use.
The errors are sometimes difficult to fix. Some of the systems that I use everyday didn't come out of the box and it's not that easy to make new systems.
Its so nice to see this kind of software product when a difficult in handling the complex designs.
My biggest complaint is when I add a new product.

During this time we have considered other estimating systems and have always stayed with Autobid due to the improvements constantly being made and their great customer service.
I enjoy having the ability to print reports sorted by different systems, areas, floors, and/or alternates.
Take the time to attend the 3-day training course from Trimble. The session will get you off and running very quickly and will give you many opportunities to bring up specific learning questions.
Very much user friendly and simple to set-up. As a customer we can do so many projects at one go without any difficulty in handing the clients requirement.
This means if needed I can break-out different values/areas to give a better understanding of where our costs and labor are trending.

Over all it was a good experience and would recommend for anyone who has a large team that they need to manage. Especially in the marketing/communications field.
It was hard to get into the habit of checking in with Workforce to keep it up-to-date.
Absolutely amazing will be looking to use this software when i set up my own buisness.
This is difficult when trying to compare time-keeping clocks with tasks.
Brilliant software which changes your life and the way you work.
I don't like that you can only review 2 weeks at a time without saving it, and that when I leave the page, the clock-in views jump back to the most recent day.
Great app for those businesses who what to be organised and provide a professional service to their customers.
Not being able to capture PO at any stage except on Job.
Overall it's a great product, and it continues to evolve, we will definitely continue using this product for the coming years.
The customer support is second to none. I never ever experienced such a great online customer support.
We’ve been using workever for a while now and even though the system in itself is worth every penny, it’s their customer service and attention to users that beats all competition.
The Workever team are always on hand to answer my questions and even have implemented design changes to meet our specific requirements. Cannot fault this system, Company and it’s dedicated staff.
After years of searching finally we ended up using Workever which we do not regret. It is easy to use, no training needed but for advanced users there are hidden gems as well.
Its very easy to use and self explanatory, can literally jump in and get set up and start your work flow.
With steady growth and incline in customers, we approached Workever. We rapidly went from dis-organised excel files to one centralised, organised system that our entire enterprise now operates on.
Also the software offers integrations (Xero, Stripe) which makes life easier. We have high expectations but Workever delivers.
Over all it was a good experience and would recommend for anyone who has a large team that they need to manage. Especially in the marketing/communications field.

There are a lot of updates for this product which is understandable but annoying.
With the ease of setup, the short learning curve, outstanding tech support and constant future vision, the decision to switch has been an extremely rewarding one.
I've had interns figuring change orders in less than an hour of being introduced to the product. QuoteExpress allows me to no longer hire or fire based on who can operate software.
Being a Canadian company we examined the ability to use our pricing service very carefully and were impressed at how easily this could be implemented.
But from there updates have screwed me up and they will not correct it. Still not fixed and this is how I quote jobs to make my living.
As for customer support and the rest of the staff, they are by far the best in the industry. They are always polite, helpful and knowledgeable.
With other brands of software in the past we would send our estimator's out of state to learn the software, and they would come home confused and had more questions than answers.
Quote Soft is a very user friendly system and the tech support is great, truly believe it is one of the best on the market.
QuoteExpress's Advanced User Conference is a great place to learn from other users and for users to communicate with QXP on wish list features that would make the program better and more productive.
The way they listen to the customer’s feedback and ideas sets them far above the "big" companies and the customer support is outstanding.

The tech support and the office support have been excellent since we bought the software. I always get a call back quickly, even if it is Kerry himself to help me with any issue I might have.
The training and customer support is excellent with live WebEx and real time shared computer control for teaching and troubleshooting.
They also do an excellent job of listening to the customers and implementing the ideas that are presented.
This Software is fairly easy to use. The labor pricing that they have come up with seems to be competitive.
Try other software like I did and you will quickly realize that this software is a great product that you will enjoy using.

My customers are always impressed by the clarity and appearance of my invoices. The best feature is the customization of the software to tailor it to my business and industry.
I would be very sad if that day comes, and boy-o-boy would it be a humongous headache.
I have used other products but this product is very easy to use and helps me with multiple facets of my business. The customer service provided by Greg and Dave was superb when I had some questions.
I had found some other programs to look sort of antiquated, and almost a bit intimidating.
The ease of setup, and very reasonable price, along with supreme customer support; I could not have asked for a better company and product.
Just schedule and forget, the crew takes it from there and gets it done.

We have now been able to stop using paper forms that require back office invoicing. The invoices can be sent at the same time the work order is completed.

They have proven their ability to do so. Yes they are also curtailing their software to be more compatible with the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, industries but there is still a place for me here too.

They have proven their ability to do so. Yes they are also curtailing their software to be more compatible with the electrical, plumbing, HVAC, industries but there is still a place for me here too.

Ability to change and add price book without a contacting Pointman Specialist. Notification when a proposal has been accepted.
Although it had all of the very specific features that were absolutely imperative that I have at the time it seems like every other month there is an upgrade release.
Overall I love the software, as times change obviously the software needs to keep up.

I loved the ease of it and how it was good for customers. Customers don't get a lot of our invoices where in HCP they always got them.
There are many tabs and occasionally I confuse them.
SENSITIVE CONTENT] was the best thing that SERA has. She is the best and made a very difficult transition much better.
I disliked that the job summary from previous work down prior to Sera was not available.
It is so easy to use and easy to navigate. I love NOT having to map and consolidate jobs, that Sera does it for you.
A few things take a lot of extra steps to book a call which makes it hard when phones are buys. Also how it notifies the customers for everything makes things difficult.
The onboarding specialist has been amazing to help teach a couple of of us old guys how to use it.
I dont like that I can't do multiple things at once. I have to continue to go back and forth to get stuff done.
