You can't do embedded videos and can only do 16:9 aspect ratio. When you upload videos and launch them to the audience during a webcast, you can't pause them. If your slide deck had slide timings built in and you didn't know, you're going to have a problem. And our team is always prepared for people who say they can't hear/it froze/the screensharing isn't working on the audience side, telling them to refresh.

I love that the Simulive replays let me set up my polls, presentation, video, and downloads, feeds, etc all on one screen, so that I can schedule pre-recorded presentations where attendees can "discover" my content and have a rich, interactive, all-hands-on-deck experience.

Unlike other "single-content" webinar experiences, On24 lets me design a wall of information to present the full story of a project to my collaborators or prospects all at once.

You can add a logo and some customer colors, but that's about the extent of it.

The ON24 cloud based platform is also super outdated and glitchy for presenters and attendees. If you don't have one of the dozens "premium" support packages, good luck getting a hold of someone on time to fix a simple issue with the platform.

They will not give any types of discounts or refunds on the bill but will offer extra "help" packages, which was no help to us as by the end of our event as we knew the system better than some of the help techs. But now that we know the system using the platform for our events is easy and does what we need it to do.

Some integrations are available (for an extra cost).

It has name recognition and speakers are familiar with how it works.  

The team would quickly show us the platform and ask if we had questions, however, since it was our first time we did not know the right questions to ask and missed a lot of good information because of it.

Recently, as more people have transitioned to work from home due to the Coronavirus, we are finding that those with lower-bandwidth connections are experiencing choppiness or freezing.

Hopin uses its own video conferencing software, but I think it would be better if it integrated Zoom instead as Zoom has live stream and captioning features.

White labeling isn't available (at least not when I used the software for our event), the interface is not intuitive, it wasn't user-friendly for our guests, and although you can customize your page, the customization is still limited compared to some of their competitors.

The ticket registration system essentially amounts to a 3-step authentication system that led many attendees (100 in total) to drop off mid-way through sign-up.

The availability of the Hopin platform means that I can learn from countless experts in the natural resources business without having to fly from the UK to North America to attend a " physical" conference.

The hubspot integration is almost useless and doesn't really do anything.

The first 'missing' features we identified were magic links for speakers and two-way sync for registrations with HubSpot.

Growth plan for our event but found that many of the features we needed were only accessible to business customers and there was no sum we could pay on a monthly basis in order to access them.

To this day, I'm not sure what the issue was.

The platform looks fantastic in demos but the user experience is lacking.

At the beginning of signing on with Hopin, we noticed that the platform did lack some features that we were hoping to have, for example being able to pull Magic links for 1 client at a time, being able to add a photo of the speaker who didn't want to share their video, annotation tool when sharing screen, also the size of the screen when sharing, we had to continuously remind our audience to double click on the screen to make it larger. With that said, just about all of those features were added.

It was easy to see the chat, see the agenda, and the quality was crisp.
