It has helped our company grow with leads, and helps makes our company more present in our country.

Our video webinars have been a great hit with our customers and clients and we continue to use it even past the pandemic.

One thing that I think can be improved is the rigid rules in place for some customization of the software.

You can't do embedded videos and can only do 16:9 aspect ratio. When you upload videos and launch them to the audience during a webcast, you can't pause them. If your slide deck had slide timings built in and you didn't know, you're going to have a problem. And our team is always prepared for people who say they can't hear/it froze/the screensharing isn't working on the audience side, telling them to refresh.

ON24 has a feature to build out a "console" for your webinar or live event that includes several engagement tools.

You can add a logo and some customer colors, but that's about the extent of it.

The ON24 cloud based platform is also super outdated and glitchy for presenters and attendees. If you don't have one of the dozens "premium" support packages, good luck getting a hold of someone on time to fix a simple issue with the platform.

Programs Coordinator

They will not give any types of discounts or refunds on the bill but will offer extra "help" packages, which was no help to us as by the end of our event as we knew the system better than some of the help techs. But now that we know the system using the platform for our events is easy and does what we need it to do.

Some integrations are available (for an extra cost).

It has name recognition and speakers are familiar with how it works.  

The team would quickly show us the platform and ask if we had questions, however, since it was our first time we did not know the right questions to ask and missed a lot of good information because of it.

I like the revamped interface, On24 is still a big player in the Webinars world, so it is always adapting and improving.

It's picky about its browsers, and even after you download the plugin sometimes it still doesn't work.

We spent half the time explaining our event over and over again to different people for each section.

Just be aware that you will need to learn the system yourself and expect little help from the higher ups.

The thing I don't like about this software is that users have to make an RTW account to register for events, this should be peer-to-peer - which means the lead goes directly to the host , and if Runtheworld is getting leads via our event - Every event must be marked as affiliate and every lead got from that event will marked via host, and host gets % cut commission on every paid activity with Runtheworld.

Run the World - gives me a platform where I can easily group people in main session, tables (similar to beakout rooms), and speed meeting (which they call cocktail hour) where I can do the milling.

The recordings you get post-session are ABSYMAL - we had a lot of people on a panel but "off-screen" in some sessions and they show up as black squares in your recording, so those speaking are left as tiny squares in random places surrounded by a sea of black.

It gets live and pre-recorded video to a large amount of people and allows for easy conversations in pre and post show segments.

I attended free, monthly sessions from an industry thought leader who convened a Subject Matter Expert on given dates and also facilitated a great discussion with attendees.

The way it is all laid out as individual areas, means it makes it very tough to get through to each. When you increase the size of the screen the chat scrolls right through the presentation (awful).

Each show I get 4-5 messages announcing when the show will start (24 hours to go, show is starting soon! etc).

I do not like that camera resolution is at 780. Although I believe that they have heard us and are adding capabilities to have 1028 streaming capability.

Not sure this is a contender for storing assets, breaking out into small working sessions, being partnered with a coach or peer-mentor.  

Sometimes the connection drops when connecting with someone but confident this will be rectified as glitches are worked out with new releases.  

I love how beautiful the event landing pages are.

I like the design of Run the World because it is something different and a bit fresher than traditional tools like Zoom or MS Teams.

As a new media junky with 4 attached cameras and 5 attached audio devices, I found this frustrating.

The UI is clean and function - admins benefit from a solid report out for sponsors.

I don't like that I can't see the other attendees like in a Zoom call. Or the fact that I don't really feel like I can interact with the speakers.

Also the option of background music (limited selection) and the yoga exercises are something new and cool.

RTW was an affordable virtual event platform that allowed for added fun features.
