It is a better value compared to my local phone company to have multiple phone lines, and they make it easy to manage them on their portal.

They still charge a full $20 if you just need a line for a fax machine that doesn't have any other calling features needed.

The free trial is a complete scam I have used different business calling solutions applications and they would give a 7 day or a 14 day free trial and they do not charge you unless you are fully satisfied with the trial and ready to give payment. With Ooma you have to pay for a $55 activation fee to set up your account (that is non-refundable). How can you claim your company is offering a free trial if you have to pay $55 to use their product.

The phone number only worked sporadically with the majority of calls getting a disconnect recording which they blamed on the phone company of the caller even though I tested the phone line by calling from another Ooma phone a few times as well as ATT and Verizon all with the same result.

We were able to set up so quickly because these phones are VERY BASIC. If you need robust features, this is not for you.

Our phone has been losing internet connection repeatedly and even though our internet speed/latency is beyond what Ooma requires, they still tried to blame the issues on my internet connection (and even told my staff that a jitter time of 1ms should be 5ms, even though the fact is a lower jitter number is desirable not higher).

The VOIP phone service was extremely glitchy, leaving clients unable to reach our team to manage their schedules on more than several occasions over the time period in which we used the product.

It took them over ten hours of calls until they finally admitted to the problem and told me the only option was to take a new phone number after I paid to have literature and website put out with the issued phone number.

Support is easy to reach but sometimes you have to hang up and call back because not everyone in the support department knows what they are doing.

I added 15 different additional phone lines and I was charged $15 per each line even though I was told very clearly by the customer service representative I was not going to be charged anything.

I ended up finding the "best" fit (still not great) by trial and error because there is no one there to give guidance on these things.

She told that Ooma does not work that way so she had informed me where on the website I would be able to add additional phone lines to change the area code.

I only found out they charged me because I got an email receipt for the 15 different phone lines I added that I wouldn't have ever known I was being charged for if I never was sent an email receipt.v

They mailed the phone to the wrong address and when I asked them to confirm the address they lied and said they confirmed it with UPS.

Ooma did let us consolidate phone service among different sites in one easy to manage dashboard.

We are currently looking for another provider as the quality of service is no longer acceptable.

Ooma makes AT&T and xfinity look like they have first rate customer service in comparison.

They would not even refund the money they charged me for the phone line that did not accept calls.

Got charged a substantial amount for cancelling services, services that never worked!

The customer services representatives if you can even get ahold of any mostly say it is your problem not theirs.

Good news is that their customer support is very responsive. But there are still a few minor issues have not been resolved.

Have a lot of included options in the system and you can have both an ATA and desk phone on the same ext.

Locked out of phone settings so if you are looking for changing phone wallpaper there is no option to do this on the phones.  

There is nothing in particular that I dislike, however sometimes it can be easy to miss a notification.

However, I was billed the "activation" fee during the trial period, although I received an email (on the same day) stating that the text messaging was not up and running permanently.

I wish there was more control over what data from the contact card was shown on the call display for incoming calls.2.
