Verified user reviews

GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.

Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Pros

“I especially appreciated the flexibility to customise every aspect of my projects, allowing me to create unique and engaging content tailored to my needs.”

karl a.

Boss

“The platform is especially useful for corporate training and internal communications, as it allows you to produce clear and visually appealing materials in a relatively short time.”

Alisson R.

Project Engineer

“Character Customization Limits: While functional, the customization options don’t go as deep as I’d like, although my customization desires are ambitious (creatures, historic attire, etc.)”

Anthony M.

Co-founder

Pros

“It also makes video editing accessible enough that we can establish standard templates, making it much easier to transition ownership of the final assets to our learning partners and support teams.”

MARYANN O.

Senior Manager, Enterprise Learning Experience Design

“Overall, Vyond is an intuitive video generation tool that is easily integrated with Articulate 360, making it a great way for L&D professionals to make their training content more exciting.”

Amy H.

Learning and Development Specialist

“It allows us to rapidly design high-quality, standardized L&D content that actually captures our learners' attention.”

MARYANN O.

Senior Manager, Enterprise Learning Experience Design

Cons

“We canceled our subscription, Powtoon charged us anyway, and when I called the very day the charge appeared, they refused to refund it.”

Johnny M.

CEO

“Firstly, the program is not cheap, and you need to have budgetary funds for the purchase.”

Bruno M.

Marketing Executive Intern

“The AI generated videos were poor and inconsistent from slide to slide.”

Gina C.

Trustee

Cons

“If I had to choose anything, i do find it a little frustrating to see announcements of new features or enhancements (such as new text-to-speech voices) that would seem to be part of my subscription package and then turn out to only be available at a higher subscription level. But I can understand the need to charge for new features.”

Giovanni C.

Content Developer

“Some of the character animations are difficult to sync up to make it seamless”

Carl H.

L and D consultant

“It can take a long time to hone and perfect a video; some of the voices are less than convincing; editing objects is awkward; there is no capacity to store pronunciations of e.g. company name. ”
