What is ApiZapi?
ApiZapi is a cloud-hosted service that allows businesses to perform scenario based testing on your HTTP JSON API endpoint and do load testing by simulating many thousands of users interacting. The strategy is that you look at your backend API usage and then design test scenarios that mimic the real world usage. You do this by specifying each individual call and then specifying how many virtual users you want for your test run and how long it should run for. You specify the main workload calls to mimic actual user interactions and each call can be weighted so you can decide the ones that need the most traffic in the mix.
There are many options for how to configure the HTTP JSON calls and what to collect from the response so further use and validation that everything is working correctly. All of this is managed in an easy to use graphical UI. There is no code or configuration markup files to write at all! You can literally get up and running in minutes on the ApiZapi cloud based software as a service built in AWS. You only pay for the use you make. Any charges are based on the low level inexpensive usage of AWS serverless infrastructure, so when you do run tests they are extremely cost effective.
