Frequent platform changes increase the administrative burden thus requires significant technical expertise to manage properly.  

Finally, support quality can vary depending on the plan, which sometimes makes troubleshooting slower than ideal.

Overall, my experience using Azure to build and host infrastructure has been very positive due to its strong balance of scalability, security, and ease of management.
