What is CAEplex?
CAEplex is a cloud-based simulation platform designed to help businesses in the engineering industry resolve thermo-mechanical queries or problems using the finite element method. Key features include team collaboration, remote access, grid optimization, error logs, and displacement computation.
The application enables professionals to capture geometric data, define problems of elasticity, heat conduction, and modal analysis, prepare suitable unstructured mesh, and generate results using the finite element solver tool, Fino. CAEplex helps users design workflows by defining boundary conditions on geometries and creating finite-element mesh to obtain stresses and warped displacements in the modal. Using the solution’s drag-and-drop interface, users can initiate new projects by adding geometries to CAD files in BREP, STEP, and IGES formats.
CAEplex offers meshing capabilities, which enable engineers to maintain the history of past meshes and enhance the accuracy of elements using global and local refinement controls. Users can create projects in public or private modes to provide both registered and unregistered users with read-only access to files.
