This is probably the greatest automation program in the whole game. The amount of integrations with other apps is amazing so automating tasks between softwares is incredibly easy.

Fantastic Sync Plugin

Customer support is great! Easier to use than Zapier, and it actually SYNCS contacts, unlike Zapier. It can be a little pricey depending on what options you need, but IMHO, it is worth the extra $$.

Not the same as Zapier

Pros

One might think that PieSync is just an alternative to Zapier. And while Zapier is an awesome service, this couldn't have been further from truth. PieSync let's you exactly sync data between two apps. Not just push new updates like in Zapier, but "move" a lot of old data to a different location/app.

Cons

Like any app of this sort, PieSync requires you to know a bit about the mechanics of the apps you're syncing and how their API work.

Great Sales/Client Tool, Superior Solution to Zapier

I run a small catering company in VT and get about 200 inquiries a year. I need to know who is calling me so I don't sound like an idiot when I pick up the phone. PieSync allows me to have new inquiries automatically synced into my phone via our CRM (OnePage, though I would try others too). I can then sync back changes to clients, associating a phone number if they haven't given me one, or adding more details for next time

Pros

$5/month mostly meets our needs. Deletion syncs! Two-Way (Zapier doesn't do either of these) Ends bloated contact lists

Cons

$5/month plan doesn't allow multiple features.

It just works! Does exactly what it says on the tin!

Simplifies syncing data across multiple SaAS software we use online. Means we also don't have to waste Zaps from Zapier on just doing syncs and can save them for more complex tasks.

Pros

Straight forward interface for syncing all your data across multiple platforms. Clear instructions, clearly laid out and actually has clear error messages when you screw up.

Cons

More data sources would be great, but they keep adding them all the time. Sometimes it appears to pause and more feedback would be good on what it's doing.

amazing 2 way sync of your contacts

Pros

i use this to sync activity from our crm to our email automation. they support a ton of different integrations. This is better than zapier or other 3rd party integration tools because the sync is bidirectional

Cons

PRICING - since they charge you per user synced it's really easy to start spiraling in license costs. for some reason, the assumption is that you have a lot of contacts to sync you are an enterprise customer? what, a small business owner can't have 30,000 contacts? i understand that this is an attempt to price by value, but it doesn't understand the use case.

Easy Peasy

Simple to set up and data changes are pushed through quickly. Support is amazing and will work with you to get rules for syncing up and running smoothly. Zapier can do something similar (and was what we used previously) but PieSync is simpler and

Pros

Set and forget - a few minutes to set up your rules and then it's done. Support is amazing - emailed asking for a new filter option and they created immediately for us. Once set up it just works.

Cons

Using email as the data match can make it a little harder if a contact changes to a new company and then receives a new email address. A unique identifier would be a better option

Great for syncing data

Pros

Unlike Zapier - which requires a trigger, PieSync syncs the data live. What this means is that if I update a phone number for a client my CRM I can have it automatically updated wherever I may need it.

Cons

I am impatiently waiting for a couple of integrations that I have voted for. Saying that, each quarter they have been releasing integrations with a handful of software choices.

PieSync: Providing clarity in the messiest of databases

Pros

It is allowing us to have two-way sync between applications that normally would only have one-way communication. This puts it a step above other platforms like Zapier because it allows for greater problems to be solved with ease.

Cons

Delay in customer service. Not too long but we needed information just a tad more quickly.

To potential users of PieSync: Have you ever tried to "sync" contacts between Google Contacts, a CRM, another CRM, a website (that has a CRM), and perhaps various tools (that also are driven by your contacts)? I'm sure you have. And I'm sure you hated your life when doing so. And I'm sure you realized that each company's "integrations" are nothing short of terrible if they wrote their "integration"...

Pros

- It SYNCS contacts (which is not "pushing" contacts via Zapier) between any system that uses it. - It WORKS FLAWLESSLY. I never have to mess with it. It just works. - It's fast. - Umm... what else is there? I mean, it SYNCS your contacts in real-time!!!

Cons

- More developers (and therefore more "management" of software companies) need to use PieSync for their integrations. - It's not free - which is fine because it is WELL worth the money for what it does.

PieSync appeard to be an interesting alternative to Zapier for a specific need. The licence is affordable and it can help you spare much time if you need to synchronize contacts using tools like Google Contacts, Podio, etc. It works fine and I recommend it to my clients to improve and automate their business / CRM tools.

Nothing. Once it works, you can forget it and spend time on things that really matter.

Quick & Efficient Sync - Saves Time

Huge time saver at the end of the day. The main benefit is that the marketing team is not spending time scrubbing contacts across tools, and every tool is ready to go when it comes to contacting our customers and prospects.

Pros

PieSync saved us time syncing across marketing automation tools. It was easy to use and set up. Within the hour, we had it syncing pretty well. Both Zapier and Automate.io were too limited in their rules. I kept having staff spend precious time doing clean up that prevented me from actually using my marketing tools.

Cons

PieSync has a good solution for syncing across various best of breed tools. There will always be a need for this. I had some difficulty with some arcane rules blocking my sync. The error messages didn't appear on my end, so kept re-syncing without seeing the reason for certain contacts not being updated. Other than that, it's more an annoyance that some of the big players don't play together nicely, even when you've signed up for a premium subscription, so we have to pay yet another solution to bridge the gap.

Must-have App for your Cloud Tech Stack

I have totally eliminated Double Data Entry and my CRM and smartphone are always up-to-date.

Pros

I used to use Zapier to automate my contact transfers, but now I use Piesync and it is much better now. It would take 10-20 Zaps to replace one Piesync Connection. Customer support is sublime in a word, via email and phone. I force all my clients to set up Piesync as soon as possible

Cons

No complaints yet! Whenever there is a lack of functionality, it is usually the fault of the the app that is being connected.

PieSync for Office 365 and Pipedrive

Overall, very impressed with the product and excited about upcoming features. I don't think there is anything out there which actually syncs changes in contacts (and not just new contacts). PieSync is extremely easy to set up and works right "out of the box". We migrated over from Zapier to PieSync for the contacts synchronization. We are using the platform to sync Pipedrive with Office 365.

Pros

Easy to use. Accurate synchronization. Highly reliable and stable.

Cons

Calendar synchronization for Office 365 would be a great future feature.

Works Great for Syncing Contacts - No Better Solution

We are able to sync contacts between our multiple SaaS accounts without conflicts in data.

Pros

We are regularly using automation at our company and for our clients. Having proper 2-way sync is tough to come across for all of the SaaS that we are currently using. In some instances, we have made Zapier work to give at least 1-way sync, which is still required at times, but when possible, we definitely use PieSync for our syncing needs.

Cons

I have some SMB clients that have a lot of contacts but they are still a very small company. The pricing does start to get pretty expensive especially if 99% of the contacts dont actually change on a regular basis. If you have 100k people in your CRM over time, even if you arent touching most of them, you have to pay for a pretty high tier to keep them synced. Selective sync is good in this regard if you dont want everyone in your CRM to be synced to say your Help Desk for example, but there are scenarios where this can get pretty expensive.

Pros

We are using PieSync to connect Hubspot and Prosperworks, our sales CRM. In order to build a true sales funnel, we needed the Hubspot CRM to update when contacts change in Prosperworks. We are still tweaking the integration, but it is working. Without PieSync, we would have not been able to work with Hubspot or track marketing attribution without switching CRMs. - Excellent customer support (they will do an intro call with you, and offer you additional assistance in setting up your integrations) - Simple, straightforward UI - No down time (none of our integrations have broken/gone offline). Honestly, seems like a really quality product all around

Cons

- Unlike Zapier, PieSync has a relatively small number of apps they sync with. Would love to use it for more functions, but we do not use the other software they support. - The integration we mainly use (syncing Hubspot to Prosperworks) is a bit limited. For example, you can only sync CONTACT data and not OPPORTUNITIES or LEADS. We have had to find ways to work around this, which we did not expect going in.
