Verified user reviews

GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.

Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.

Pros

“All‑in‑One Platform: Hosting, templates, basic SEO tools, and forms were built in, so you didn’t need to stitch together a lot of third‑party tools to launch a functional site.”

Marc R.

Digital Media Specialist

“Clean, Structured Layouts: Weebly encouraged simple, well-organized page layouts, which helped keep sites visually clean and easy to navigate.”

Marc R.

Digital Media Specialist

“It made launching a site fast and unintimidating, especially for small organizations, classrooms, or users who needed a functional web presence without a steep learning curve.”

Marc R.

Digital Media Specialist

Pros

“Naturally, after that, you can alter it to fit your colour scheme and update the text to reflect your unique brand, but that will take some time.”

Adibah I.

Account assistant

“However, compared to some other website builders, it takes far less time to get to the stage where you can begin editing.”

Adibah I.

Account assistant

“Even though you can't really create your own layout from scratch, you are able to quickly create a design that works in a short period of time.”

Marquita R.

Owner/Operator

Cons

“Stagnant Feature Growth: Over time, the platform didn’t seem to evolve as quickly as competitors, especially after its acquisition—new features and updates felt slow or minimal.”

Marc R.

Digital Media Specialist

“Limited customization, weaker SEO tools, and fewer advanced features restrict flexibility for users wanting more control or scaling.”

Josep R.

Graphic design

“Stopped using because "Weebly" has to be in the domain name, and makes the website handle super long.”

Adashia F.

Owner

Cons

“Also, if you copy a section and paste, you'll actually overwrite the section unless you copy, add a section, then paste.”
