I also don't like that you can't just "view" reports, everything has to be downloaded and it takes time.   When I contacted support as to why there were lines running through my view report, I was told it was a glitch...like really!!

Cosmolex priorities the taxes and hard cost.

I can propose accounting ideas to my employees after well-done calculations, all thanks to Cosmolex.

Sometimes the clients struggle navigating the client portal, so it is inconvenient taking the time to guide them through the process.

In short, while CosmoLox is easy to use, it is not as comprehensive or feature-rich as some of the other legal case management software programs available on the market. If you are just starting out in the legal field, I would recommend looking for a less expensive product that offers more features and flexibility.

There is no clicking on when you are on a journal, you need to leave the screen and go somewhere else.  

I like it because I can access all the tools and features I need to run my law practice very efficiently.

Technology and Business Lawyer

CosmoLex has provided practice management support for Suresh Law to client our with with their technology, business and real estate law needs.

Also, when creating intake forms, certain blocks on the forms will move to different places and have to be manually adjusted to get them to the right place.

The template settings are super confusing and not user friendly

A few big missing features are the universal search bar, and bulk changes.

CosmoLex is a very helpful software to have in a law firm.

The two features I would like to see are a client intake form (which might already be part of the platform; I just haven't found it), and a scheduling app where clients can see my available time slots and select which times work for them.

Would like to see a client ledger which incorporates both trust and general expense entries on single page.

I like that it is one product for Law Practice Management and Accounting with one price for all features.

This is a good tool for accounting, what's special about it is that it is cloud-based which differentiates it from similar alternatives.

Plaid integration fails at times and needs resetting for bank feed.

We saw the biggest impact in time and billing -- it's easy to mark down the "tiny" slices of time because you are already in the file.  

Billing/Invoicing/Payment management and Account reconciliation features are what I like best -- easy to stay on top of the flow

It is easy on the eyes, the monthly graph and pie chart is very great for keeping track of income.

I found it to be easy to use and the interface was nice to look at.

It's made reconciling accounts much easier and faster for me.

The initial onboarding process was very useful and the data migration from my previous accounting software program was quite seamless.

We liked that it appeared to have a bunch of services wrapped up into one--time-keeping for billing, accounting software similar to Quickbooks with an automatic feed into our accounts, and email archiving/practice management.

We recently needed to transfer a file, and in going to export the emails, we learned that we would need to go into each email, print to PDF, and manually save! When I asked why this wasn't explained in the marketing materials as we would never have used Cosmolex for email storage if we knew that it would require this much work to actually use or access the emails, I was given instructions for how to download the emails from my Outlook account directly.

Billing with a timer, bulk billing (was added after I requested), super responsive customer support/chat, great reports, full back-end accounting

It was a smooth transition to migrate files and data over (CosmoLex took this over for me)
