Lexbe is a great partner in e-discovery and can assist in the entire discovery process from document review, redaction, production, and privilege log.

This is something that I've noticed that some of our older attorneys are hesitant to use the system. Despite its many search and filter options, it can be challenging to locate a document, especially for new users who may feel overwhelmed by the multitude of choices.

For example, if there is a special search I like to use to help remove non-responsive materials, I would like to be able to use that same search in other cases.

Features like Co-Pilot have been invaluable for enhancing witness summaries and understanding information more effectively.

The analysis tab provides different angles of a search that the attorney may have overlooked initially.

There were a few points of frustration and delays, but overall, I had no issues with Lexbe, and I really appreciated the customer service aspect of Lexbe as well.

I also like that there is a feature for your notes, and that you can easily filter through documents to ensure you are seeing the right things each time.

The upload process is so quick and easy and the cost is so reasonable Lexbe becomes a tool you will use almost every day. Once you gain proficiency with Lexbe you will be surprised with how quickly and accurately you can respond to any case research question an attorney might have.

I like how easy it is to generate spreadsheets for privilege logs and/or document production logs with hyperlinks that take you directly to the documents.

Your tech support is always willing to help with massive uploads.

I like the ease of use and the features aren't buried in the platform but accessible and easy to navigate.

The case management, access controls and reporting was also top tier.

These often involve a smaller entity or even an individual taking on  a large company.  

I would rate 5 stars for their customer support where they have designed personnel assigned.

For hit highlights, to see where specific terms are contained within the document, it is only possible to see hits in the Text view, not Image, and sometimes it can be difficult to go between text and image to find hits for search terms. But it is not a significant issue.

The customer service is exceptional - from the customer service team, the avaialbility of contacting support and the things that Everlaw has chosen to include in the subscription (i.e. number of users being free), makes it a stand alone product.

We will use the ECA feature, promote documents for review and production, migrate the work product to the produced document, and then demote the original documents to the ECA database to save on hosting fees. After a production is run, the review project now has 2 of every document produced. If I was running a production on 1GB of data and the resulting production took up 1.5GB, even if I demote the original documents right after the production, we are still billed for 2.5GB even though the originals were only on the review side for maybe an hour after they were produced.

There product was intuitive to use, whereas some other similar products that I have used were more difficult to learn and navigate.

I wish the storybuilder tool allowed greater variety of formatted documents (e.g., charts and tables)

It would be much easier if, instead of creating a whole new document, it would create another tab in the review window that would be called "produced" or something along those lines.

It is very user-friendly and convenient for document review for electronic discovery.

The smooth interface and the depth of keyboard shortcuts in your review window make it easy to code your docs in a way that almost feels fun.

Another issue is versioning. When a document is produced, it creates a whole new document separate from the native.

We don't need to tell a vendor what tags to create or the search terms needed to create review batches.

Set-up of production protocols is not complicated which is makes for quick turn-round on generating production sets. When working with large volumes of native data, like emails, the extraction of metadata allows sorting using various search parameters (date, author, subject....).  

When you export all data at once you cannot tell where the data came from specifically.

The collaborative tools allow our team to conduct in depth investigations.

The presets are the way to go when coding unless a doc needs special attention.

Everlaw is one of the best tools when loading data in small to mid-size projects.

What I least like about Everlaw is that they are constantly updating the software, so even when I think I know how to use something, they go and make it better and I miss the release.  

Our partners in Sierra Leone found it difficult to access the platform due to bandwidth issues.

We have had former a legal assistant uploading new datasets, and she was doing it incorrectly but didn't realize.

I also love that I can upload deposition transcripts and exhibits which is useful for ease in finding key words and phrases in a transcript in trial.

It's rare to find a program with such great customer service and always has someone available to assist at all times for any question or matter.

It helps me review documents quickly and with ease.

Everlaw also has the ability to ingest pdf production files that are Bates endorsed but not provided with load files.  

That it is so easy to customize for quick review based on unique work-style.

Overall I absolutely love using Everlaw and find it to be a great tool for organizing, reviewing, redacting, searching and producing documents in the discovery process.  

Overall, it has been a positive experience and has helped simply the process of reviewing a high-volume discovery case.

It is user friendly and intuitive. Once you have the basics down, it is very easy to expand on to more complex items.

Sometimes the home page can appear a bit cluttered and when you first start using it it's not obvious how to navigate around it.

The biggest drawback of Everlaw is the expense.
