Additionally, sendinblue does a horrible job documenting and announcing their own vetting process. I once purchased SIB Credit and had no feedback as to why it wasn't credited to my account.

Sendinblue is probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. Not only their support is close to inexistent for users with premium account, but they treat you like a criminal.

We'd gone to some trouble to transition our mailing list, learn the new interface, and get it linked to our website for subscriptions. We now feel that we were misled or tricked.

Sendy is quite powerful, offers integration possibilities, and offers the same value for money that you get with SES.

The in-built email editor might seem limited if you are used to the more design-friendly packages of Mailchimp and moosend and similar software.

The setup was the only thing I'd say I slightly disliked since it took a while and required a bit of technical knowledge but it's managable.

It took a few attempts to translate the UI fields (as I had missed that they had tag functionality under a different name) but support was friendly and fast.

This might not be for someone non-techie. If you don't know what SMTP is, if you don't know how to setup DNS records, a SPF, or what a DKIM is and the like, then this might scare you.
