Pros
It sends out scheduled relevant content to my followers which in turn attracts more followers to my account.
Cons
There is nothing particular I don't like, the service does what it is expected to do. I have set it up once and forgot about it.

Buffer is just AWESOME!
Pros
Buffer is a wonderful tool for scheduling, and spacing out, social media updates. It seems to work EVERYWHERE and 99% of what I share to the social networks is done via Buffer. It is easy to use and their support is outstanding!
Cons
About the only thing that I do not like about Buffer is that sometimes, for some reason, a post that you have created will fail to send. Now, if your social network connection needs to be refreshed, they will notify you of that.

Pros
Buffer makes it incredibly easy to schedule and post content to the most popular social networks.
Cons
It is supposed to send a push notification when a post is to be manually published, but even though notifications are set up properly it doesn't send the notification.

Pros
I like the simple interface to manage multiple accounts (much less clunky than Hootsuite or Tweetdeck). Can schedule to publish Instagram posts.
Cons
Also, if the image is the wrong aspect ratio for an Instagram post, it will only send you a reminder which is fine but won't provide a crop or resizing tool.

Then I can send them to be "accepted" and then pushed for final scheduling.
Pros
I love Buffer! The part I like best is that it is super easy to navigate and it links up with Pablo which helps to create amazing graphics, memes, and social media posts. There are also tutorials and tips to help you!
Cons
There was nothing that I came up with that I did not love about Buffer. I sort of even loved it more than Hootsuite to be honest.

Hi, Lynne, thank you so much for your awesome review and for sharing how you use Buffer. I'm really glad that you love Buffer!
With one click I can send 1 article to up to 10 platforms.
Pros
one and done. I can share up to 10 platforms instead of doing each one individually.
Cons
sometimes I have two of the same tweets appear. I think it's a user error though. Maybe posting advice?

Recommendations to others considering Buffer
take advantage of the metrics
Buffer does what it says it will, with a simple, clean interface.
Pros
I like that it allows at least 10 posts set up free, can control the posting time, as well as see how many clicks/follows/interactions each post is getting to know what is successful. It's a simple product that does what it should.
Cons
I also feel like Buffer sends too many administrative emails to users.

The tool is VERY helpful, the free version allows up to 10 posts per platform (limited to 6 I think), which is a god-send from having to post daily on multiple platforms.
Pros
I love that every couple weeks, I can generate a bunch of Social Media posts, load them into Buffer.com and not have to think about that task again except to follow up on comments and engagement. Buffer makes this monumental task a breeze! I also love that you can set the timing of the posts as well as re-arrange/scramble the posts for each platform. Super handy so that if you engage with people across those accounts, they can see different posts at different times, which makes it come across more organically.
Cons
Even though there is the opportunity to format your post for each SM platform, they still don't translate that well. Because IG is the pickiest of the SM platforms, I've used that format as my main guide, but IG posts don't fit the LinkedIn frame, and videos longer than 60 seconds won't post to IG as a video, only as a link. And customer service is zero.

Pros
I love the fact that Buffer will send me reminders when I have to post something.
Cons
The only thing, which isn't Buffer's fault, is that Instagram won't allow Buffer to automatically post, which is only a minor inconvenience.

Social media scheduling, social media calendar organization.
Pros
Lots of features and great company culture. The stand-alone app plus the browser extension make scheduling social media posts easy in any situation.
Cons
Instagram still won't let third -party apps post for you, so (as with any social media scheduler), Buffer only sends a reminder about IG posts, and you have to post them yourself.

Being able to create social designs with Pablo was great!
Pros
Easy to share articles with the Chrome extension and easy to send out tweets.
Cons
If you don't have the money to upgrade it the functionality almost becomes useless. The design is also not the best and can be a bit confusing.

The analytics, ability to publish GIFs, and schedule/reschedule a lot of content are all great benefits.
Pros
Buffer makes it easy to manage multiple accounts and send out a high-volume of content.
Cons
It's a little on the pricey side, but I think it's worth the investment. The Instagram scheduling tool could be more useful than it is.

I organize my business´s social media post.
Pros
I can program all my social media post, even in more than one account. I can see a preview of the post organize by dates. When I have a error that would not let me publish a post, it lets me know what is the problem.
Cons
When the post is heavier than a limit that Buffer has it would not publish it, Buffer will just send me a reminder.

Using Buffer is a wholesome experience and i doubt i can find a replacement soon. I actually tried searching for better alternatives but had to stick with Buffer cause it serves me well.
Pros
I also love the fact that there is WordPress plugin that will send posts to my social media accounts anytime i post on my WordPress websites
Cons
After granting the app access to my social media acctounts, access will be denied after sending a post and i would need to reconnect the app with my social media accounts again.

I've tried a lot of social media scheduling software and I've always come back to Buffer. It's the one of the best out there in my opinion. Especially for a small non-profit. Bonus points, they give subscription discounts to non-profits!!
Pros
Dependability. I love that I can schedule all of my social media posts for the week and not have to think about it. Rarely ever is there a time where a post has an error going out and usually if it does happens, it's Facebook because sometimes she acts ups for no reason. I also love the clean, user-friendly simplicity of the site. It doesn't take a lot of effort to train other users on how to use the software.
Cons
That was a game changer for me, because I often overlooked the reminders it would send me to post to Instagram.

This is a must-to-use tool that will save much time and effort when managing a company's social strategy.
Pros
manage all social content/updates into a single interface, connect all the most used social networks and send updates, schedule, track virality, etc.
Cons
Haven't identified a downside for this tool. If you need to manage many accounts (for the same social network) you may need to use the premium paid version (which is totally fine).

Did the job.
Pros
I liked this software better than Hootsuite because you still had control of hitting the send button as opposed to it posting on it's own.
Cons
What I liked least is that you could only schedule 10 posts at a time without paying for an account. This is normal but just not what we needed it for.

Overall, it's pretty nice. I wouldn't mind looking around for other options and seeing what else is out there, but this is the program my boss has us using -- and really, overall it's great.
Pros
It's really nice to have a program that can link all of our social media platforms. That wasn't always the case, but Buffer has since updated how they work and now i t's all in one place, which is super great.
Cons
Our team has several people creating and scheduling posts to go out, and sometimes Buffer would send a notification that there was a problem or a delay in posting, but when one person goes in to manually post it, it doesn't update on all devices, so sometimes we end up double posting.

When/if that issue happens again, would you be up for sharing it with our Customer Advocates via Twitter or Facebook Messenger? We're keen to look into it and see if we can do anything about it. Thank you. -Alfred
I find it useful for startups that are in the beginning and don't have a lot of content. After some time, you might start looking for a higher price service.
Pros
I like that it's easy to use, navigate and I liked using it for a couple of my clients as I work as a Social Media Manager and I've used it for many clients because it was cheap and it worked pretty good.
Cons
After using this software for over a year or so, I noticed that a few times, my post didn't get published and the software didn't even send notification to my email or phone and I didn't post anything to social media when I needed to.

Buffer is a lifesaver. It saves us non-social-media lovers from hovering on the dedicated websites and playing the waiting game. A few clicks and your announcement is gone. Simple, easy, no-frills.
Pros
This is what you've been waiting for. The one-stop, anywhere-you-are, oops-I-forgot-to-post-that, social media solution. With a few clicks and a few command-C's and V's, you'll be ready to post your update, announcement, sale, whatever you want. I don't love dealing with social media, especially on the business level, but Buffer makes it easy and painless.
Cons
And, sure, you can delete social media posts, but I start to miss the weird sweaty monkey arm you see when you're ready to send other things on other websites that makes you really want to be sure it's good to go.

I do wish that they would add more features (see: sendible), but I do appreciate their simplicity and attention to detail.
My experience is a bit bad, since I can not publish anything automatic since it does not upload it and gives an error.
Pros
What I like about this program is that you can manage your social networks in just 1 application, it is very useful for a person who has several social networks and wants to upload images or publish it immediately. The option that allows programming is very useful, since you can place something daily without always being connected.
Cons
What I do not like is the operation, which first has problems in instagram, since it does not have the automatic option to adapt the photos to be published automatically, since it sends error when uploading it.

One of the best tools for curating and posting social messages.
Pros
Instead of a set posting schedule, you can save your social media messages or links to Buffer and they will send them out throughout the day.
Cons
This tool is definitely a little more pricey than others. If you have a large team, you have to pay a little bit more.

Overall, Buffer is a helpful tool for scheduling posts across many platforms. As a small business owner, I have very little time leftover at the end of the day, and the last thing I want to worry about is my social media posting. Buffer helps me streamline my workday and check one more thing off the list with little effort.
Pros
As a photographer, I rely heavily on social media, so social media assistants/schedulers are great for streamlining work. Some pros of Buffer are: - There are varying levels of accounts, including a free option, so you're sure to find a plan that works for you - Buffer has a strong analytics tool. The big plus here for me is that it will show you in plain english which posts perform better or worse (and you can filter them by engagement type). - Scheduling posts across platforms is literally as easy as one click. - The interface is simple and very user friendly.
Cons
It instead will send a notification to your phone to let you know that it loaded a photo into your Instagram account, and from there you take the lead

Pros
We use the content review and approval system the most. It enables the team to seamlessly create content and have it published across various social networks. They also updated their reporting which is a huge improvement. I'm very happy with how the new reports look. It's a good value for the number of networks they include and the reporting.
Cons
The approval process could be made quicker (similar to Buffer) because it adds in an extra click which I don't think is needed.
