What is Ghost?
GhostRetail is a live video co-shopping platform that layers seamlessly on top of a merchant's website with a single snippet of code. Live shopping call-to-action entry points or buttons can be placed anywhere on an eCommerce site, including product pages, collections, banners, and site-wide widgets. These entry points can be toggled on/off on demand.
Alternatively, merchants can integrate GhostRetail with any scheduling or calendar tool to offer live shopping appointments on demand. Shoppers who join the appointment will be automatically sent to the Ghost live shopping experience.
When a shopper joins a Ghost call, they have the ability to turn the camera and mic on or off, before being connected to a live shopping associate (provided by the merchant). During the call, the live shopping associate can co-navigate the website with the shopper, either by sending (or 'zapping') specific product pages or collections to a customer or by 'mirroring' where they're navigating on the site. The website can also be minimized to present the fullscreen video for close-up looks at products.
Both live shopping associates and customers can add products to the bag, and the live shopping associate can initiate checkout that takes place within the call while protecting all customer PII. Ghost leverages a merchant's existing tech stack, bringing in everything from loyalty and promotions management to checkout and order management systems.
Merchants can view the up-to-the-minute performance of live shopping channel at any time, including how each individual associate is performing, how many calls are being initiated, and how many conversions GhostRetail's video shopping platform is generating.
