Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

LiveJudge overview
What is LiveJudge?
LiveJudge is mobile scoring, judging and fan-voting software for live events. It replaces paper scoresheets and spreadsheets with a rubric you define yourself, scored from the phones people already have in their pockets.
The rubric is yours. Build classes, the elements inside each class, the weight of every element, and score increments of 0.5, 0.25 or 0.1. One element can split into as many criteria as it deserves, so a single Technique score becomes precision, flair and crispness, each with its own slider and its own guidance. LiveJudge honors the rubric you already use instead of bending your event to fit a template.
The judge's seat
Judges score on color-graded sliders whose guidance rewrites itself as the score moves, so a 7 means the same thing to every judge in the room. Heads-Up Mode swaps the sliders for tap buttons or deduction blocks when a judge cannot look down, which matters when a performance is in front of them. Sign-in is by text message code: nothing to install, nothing to update, no password to reset on event day.
Results that survive scrutiny
Choose from four normalization methods, raw average, high/low drop, Z-score and Olympic-Z, so a strict panel and a lenient one carry equal weight. Raw marks stay available underneath, ties are detected automatically, and every result carries a full audit trail and a spreadsheet export. Every entrant gets an official score report showing each judge's marks per round and per element with the weight beside each.
The room
Your event gets a branded page and a scannable code. Spectators browse every contestant, profile and document on their own devices, follow live standings if you choose to show them, and vote on ballots you open and close on your schedule. Set vote limits, geo-fence voting to a radius as tight as a quarter mile, add a sponsor to a ballot, and blend the audience result with the judges' at a weighting you set.
Running the event
Build a judge roster once and assign it across every class. Decide what finished means, every assigned judge or any two of six, and see exactly which entrants are still short. Run as many rounds as your format needs with automatic advancement, print scannable entry tags, and message judges and contestants by text.
Used for pitch competitions, science fairs and academic judging, car, motorcycle and radio-control shows, dance, cheer, pageants, talent and gymnastics, cook-offs, hackathons and speech contests.
