Since I have been using meltwater for the past two year my favorite feature is the X (Twitter) analytics dashboard that gives us an analysis of mentions with demographic data on age gender and RT QT and many more apart from that the buzz alerts where in if there is a surge in mention it notified us via mail and in tool

No media database is perfect in terms of either staying current with media members and/or as it relates to media monitoring.

It really helps to cover mentions around the social media related to the brand i am working on and the sentiment anlaysis

It got to a point where we asked our "client success manager" to please disable our instance of the platform so our team would stop receiving the useless alert emails that were filling up our inboxes.   Despite several emails, our CSM never replied to the emails or heeded our request to disable our account.

Social listening tools are great in principle, but you need a comprehensive understanding of boolean search parameters, and although we were offered support from our account manager, this didn't actually come about

I can't think of how many times our team would look at the "alert" emails and laugh at both the quality of the results followed by the obscureness of the websites it was pulling content from.  

Their reputation monitoring tool returned highly unrelated results from a majority of click-bait, AI-generated SEO websites.  

However, it appears that there was minimal, if any, implementation and launch support and/or validation from the Meltwater team that the monitoring results were what we were looking for.

I like the ability to easily schedule content, along with the ability to schedule the first comment too.

We’ve swapped brand ownership to keep our schedule intact, but are now actively looking at competitors who understand how real-world teams function. If you're a solo creator, Metricool might work for you. But for any professional team or agency, this tool is a liability unless they overhaul how notifications work and stop misrepresenting what the platform can do.

The only "solution" offered is to transfer brand ownership to the person publishing the content — which we had to do mid-campaign, completely breaking our internal roles.

There’s no way to assign a post to a teammate for manual publication. If the owner is unavailable, the post doesn't go out.

Customer service is robotic and unhelpful, software is ok, but content becomes very generic.

A good service should value its customers and be willing to rectify issues promptly, especially when it comes to unauthorised charges.

It is amazing to be able to compare the impressions of your different socials in one graph and be able schedule your posts on all your added social media ahead of time...even months ahead!

I am new in this, we needed to have interaction in social media, it was hard to find the data in each segment or app, the best of metricool is that you see the whole picture about what’s going on in Facebook, Instagram, YouTube in the same page.
