Pros

The support staff, from the most senior to the more recent, are excellent, courteous and available 24x5. They are most helpful in in real time text exchanges and emails.
From simple survey designs to more complex operations, QP has been an excellent resource. Most importantly the support has been excellent from the outset.
That I can make an easy Survey really fast and can individualize it. Its great how helpful and quick the support is.

Pros

The ease of use, the ability to customize and best of all uniformity throughout the organization.
Overall, I would recommend using Forms because its integration with one's google account is amazing and when drafted correctly, you can elicit the appropriate feedback from users of the Form.
Auto save in the cloud is seamless with amazing collaboration support. Free to use and easily integrates with other Google features.

Cons

QuestionPro blamed the missing data on our respondents not filling in the data.
After some back and forth, they let us have it if we paid in bulk for a few months. Then, once we were collecting our data and exporting it, we realised there was missing data.
E-mails are badly formatted, validation is required for surveys with many users and it was not easy, and they have an article talking about using their SDK, but they do not have an SDK available.

Cons

If you make a mistake there is no auto suggestion to help you out. It will give you a blank look and a confusing an error message.
I have a hard time making changes to my current forms. It is mainly because I am scared I will disrupt the flow of the form.
People miss the submit button after entering all the information. Hard to capture answers when this is missed.

Question Pro is intuitive to use, and offers great reporting via excel

Pros

I really like Question Pro. I've also used Survey Monkey, Google forms and Microsoft forms. The builder is easy to use, and the report is better than Google and Microsoft forms. To my usage, there are less features than Survey Monkey but with our nonprofit discount, it is very worth the price. And I didn't always use the features in Survey Monkey anyways

Cons

Nothing really comes to mind. There are less features, such as a very comprehensive survey building and no dashboards like in Survey Monkey, but I didn't use those that often anyways.

Great For Public and Internal Surveys

We use QuestionPro for gathering feedback and creating and distributing signup forms for staff meetings and events. It's been great for collecting responses from our team internally, as well as reaching out to event attendees and organizers about their experiences working with us.

Pros

QuestionPro is versatile - it's more customizable than other form options, and makes things like generating QR codes for quickly distributing surveys a breeze. If you'd like greater control over how your surveys look and behave than products like Google Forms offer, QuestionPro is worth checking out. Their support for non-profit clients is also commendable.

Cons

The menu for customizing which email addresses are notified when a specific survey receives responses could be easier to find.

This software has been indispensable for running board elections for our membership organization. Our other primary use is it for forms to collect consistent information, easily track submissions, easy downloading of information.

Pros

The things I like most about this software: ease of use for collecting consistent information, notifications when surveys/forms are completed, ability to control access to the forms, being able to send reminders only to those who haven't completed the survey. Quick and easy to collect small pieces of information.

Cons

I have yet to encounter something I would like to do with QuestionPro that it won't do.

Overall, extremely pleased with the product. It's made our data collection and even application process more organized, professional, and seamless.

Pros

I appreciate how easy it is for a non-technical person to design tailored surveys and application forms for data collection. It's very intuitive for the person building the survey itself.

Cons

Sometimes I've had a challenge of creating branding to align with our organization or how to visually design/arrange the information to create a more customized/sleek appearance. However, that hasn't impacted the functionality of the surveys for our audience. I haven't figured out if/how to run more complicated data analytics or reports with the data gleaned from the surveys also.

The wide variety of question types is the most helpful aspect of QuestionPro. We also appreciate the ability to collect a signature so that we can create forms using QuestionPro. We appreciate being able to download the raw data.

Cons

Would like to see QuestionPro add a “Save and Resume” feature.

The best service from the platform and from the siupport team!

The platform itself is great! However, I have to commend the support staff! They are willing to help anytime, and I mean anytime. There were times I needed help at 22:00 at night and the support team member was just a message away and more than willing and able to help me in that moment. That's just one example of how the team at QuestionPro take Customer Experience seriously. Working in the CX industry myself, I can learn so much from the staff at QuestionPro and apply it my own career. Well done, team!

Pros

The QuestionPro tool is user friendly, easy to navigate and quite intuitive. I spend at least 60% of my time at work using it, and it has not let me down.

Cons

Nothing really - the only issue is that I am using Internet Explorer. It's best to use Google Chrome for this platform.

A Powerful and Seamless Alternative to Google Surveys

We use QuestionPro to send post-class surveys to participants. It has made the organization of feedback incredibly easy and therefore actionable. While Google Surveys is free, it doesn't have the functionality/scalability of QuestionPro.

Pros

We really enjoy that QuestionPro is a one-stop shop for all our surveying needs. Everything gets fed into one system rather than dozens of individual Google Surveys.

Cons

Being more robust than Google Surveys, there is a learning curve with QuestionPro. Depending on the user, it might take you a couple hours to get fully comfortable with the software.

We are an NGO that helps donors to find talented children they can support. With QuestionPro it was very easy to plan a survey, with the help of which we could gather all the needed data from the children and their family. Until now we sent out paper forms that were sent back by each family, and we used a lot of resource and time to digitalize this data. QuestionPro helped us a lot

Pros

Easily understandable programing of the questionnaire. You do not need to be an expert in computer sciences to do this. All data are available under analytics, you can follow even personal responses without downloading the database. Data is shown more comprehensible then in other similar tools we tried out. QuestionPro has a program for NGOs, through which they offer free upgraded to NGOs. As a small NGO with less resources for these kinds of tools this possibility is really-really great. The support is also awesome. Until now they responded promptly each and every time

Cons

A problem is that you cannot create more then one weblink for your survey where answers can be connected. This way you cannot differentiate which answer from which medium the answers came from.

Wir nutzen QuestionPro bereits seit Jahren. Wir hatten andere Mitbewerber - wie Lamapoll, Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey ... ausprobiert und sind letztendlich bei QuestionPro gelandet. Das Produkt zeichnet sich durch seine intuitive Bedienung aus. Umfragen sind schnell erstellt, verteilt und ausgewertet. Man braucht keine lange Einarbeitungszeit. Antwortspezifische Pfade und Verzweigungen sind schnell und einfach erstellt. Der Funktionsumfang ist für unsere Zwecke optimal. Schnell sind Daten erhoben und exportiert zur weiteren Verarbeitung (bspw. in SPSS). Uns kommt ferner zugute, dass die Firma Non-Profit-Organisationen unterstützt und ihnen das Produkt im 2-Jahres-Turnus kostenlos zur Verfügung stellt.

Cons

Offenkundige Nachteile konnten wir in den vergangenen Jahren keine feststellen. Wir sind rundum zufrieden.

This has become not just a survey tool, but a main avenue for doing outreach with out beneficiaries (customers). We use it as a tool for receiving requests and outsourcing the collection of data which otherwise would have required us to hire many staff.

Pros

The pros: powerful, easy to use, comprehensive, and centralized

Cons

The cons: the nonprofit pricing does not include multiple users. Also, re-using questions and building a central db of questions is not user friendly. The functionality is there but is not intuitive for users.Lastly, we would have loved for QP to be able to read from our database or Google sheets when people use it, for example populating a dropdown on the fly -- but to my knowledge no similar software does this at the moment.

Great solution for a volunteer-led organization.

Using QuestionPro saves us money over using more expensive event management tools. We use meeting registration surveys for our event registrations. We can then use the data responses to export attendee lists to create name tags with mailmerge in Word. We then can follow-up with post-event surveys, as well as annual planning surveys to help us plan our programs.

Pros

I like how QuestionPro allows you to customize its forms and surveys. Our volunteer-led professional organization uses it for meeting registrations and post-event surveys. It allows us to include our logo, and with the skip-logic, we can customize a registration form based on how people answer, so members can enter their member number and non-members won't see that option. We can also customize what happens when the form is complete, such as sending people to our PayPal page to pay for their meeting registration. While it's not integrated with PayPal, it may appear that way to our users so we can collect payment right after they register for an event. QuestionPro support has also been extremely helpful and responds quickly to questions on our account.

Cons

While QuestionPro is not a comprehensive solution to event management (and doesn't claim to be), the product works well for our organization. It took a little getting used to with all the functions and options available, but not much to complain about overall.

Powerful survey software

It has been great. They do make you jump through a couple hoops each year but, in the grand scheme of things, very minimal.

Pros

QuestionPro is great software for what we need. We initially got it because we wanted something that could run offline and on tablets and then be synced at a later time. We ended up not using that use case but have continued to use it for our intake form. It is great because it is very easy to customize question and add and format as necessary. It is a little bit of overkill for what we need but...

Cons

For what we use it for, there is nothing that I really dislike. I would say it may be a little complicated for our needs. It is also a little industrial as opposed to some other solutions that are more consumer centric. But those a far outweighed by the features and value of the product.

The advantages and disadvantages of Google Forms are many. Even so, the ideal is to explore other specialized platforms that meet your expectations and help you conduct the right questionnaires for your research and get the desired results. There are other programs such as QuestionPro that offer more features than Google Forms.

Pros

Google Forms provides templates to assist you move the process ahead in addition to gathering information through surveys or customized questions. Allows you to distribute surveys in real time to hundreds of individuals. Allows you to personalize surveys using your own colors. Allows you to construct surveys using text and photos.

Cons

It is quite restricted in that it only provides a few templates. The program does not support offline data collecting, therefore if you do not have an Internet connection, you will be unable to complete the questionnaire. Other online survey platforms have additional capabilities that allow you to create a survey in a more complex and professional manner. Its tools do not compete with those that provide higher weights for using these aspects.
