Tweet Deck Was Helpful in 2010

2018-08-23

Pros

I use to use this product a lot. And I mean a LOT. But now that the Twitter app is so helpful I don’t really have the need to organize and schedule tweets.

Cons

There’s really not that much to not like about this platform, it’s just that there are apps like Buffer and Sprout Social that do a better job.

Follow Twitter Activity at a Glance

2018-04-16

Pros

TweetDeck provides a simple dashboard that enables you to follow all kinds of activity on Twitter across multiple users: messages, notifications, particular hashtags, etc. With OSX notification functionality, you can be sure you'll never miss a like or mention.

Cons

While TweetDeck probably has enough functionality for a small business user (though no built-in analytics), it really acts better as a dashboard to support a more robust social media manager (e.g., Buffer, Hootsuite).

Straightforward social media management software

2018-05-17

Pros

I like the simple interface to manage multiple accounts (much less clunky than Hootsuite or Tweetdeck). Can schedule to publish Instagram posts.

Cons

No analytics. Also, if the image is the wrong aspect ratio for an Instagram post, it will only send you a reminder which is fine but won't provide a crop or resizing tool.

Buffer does its job well

2019-01-08

Pros

I've used Buffer for post scheduling for my website. It was fairly straightforward to use and to schedule tweets in advance.

Cons

Our team ended up using Hootsuite and TweetDeck over Buffer because we felt Buffer still could do more to add more additional, inciting features.
