The person who followed up indicated that my phone apparently has spam blockers and was not able to connect via phone and never tried to reach out via the way the chat indicated (email) until 6 days later.   How their customer service gets high ratings is beyond me.   When we originally implemented the system we had the same long lag in response time and they indicated they've had unusually high call volumes...if that were the case a year ago and still the case today I would STRONGLY suggest hiring more support persons.

The search functionality within registries is excellent, and I really appreciate being able to click on a transaction and open up multiple new tabs under the same registry.

We can manage multiple different accounts under one host account, filter by different funds, and access operations.

Some functions have caused manual input where we once had automation and we have to lgo in and out of the merger products to get work done.

You can maintain a database of all your donors and create household links.

They did, however, in the 3-4 years we used Aplos, like many CRMs, I imagine, switch from live human chat support to AI chat support, and email human support.

APLOS prides in being the number #1 church accounting software.   But it's donation (main revenue for a church) processing system is terrible.

The report names don't always match what my accountant asks me for so I have to do some digging to figure out what the equivalent report in Aplos is.

Upon our conversion to this product, we quickly learned a merger of Aplos and two other companies was underway.

Further, there were a lot of add-on costs for add-on services.

The foundation was using a software which was not designed for the services it provided, so I brought in Aplos.  

Called the phone number and was on hold until it disconnected.  

Aplos has been great from an accounting standpoint and the customer support is very prompt.

They also have reports on line that are yielding incorrect data for our users, and they won't hide those reports pending resolution.

A good example is there is NOT an easy way to produce an acknowledgement letter for a donation or invoice(pledge) payment.

Activity dashboard is very realistic and very management friendly and if you are using it in several projects, the product serves well.

There's no way a small church can afford to pay another vendor to handle payroll, but it's vital that any pay check I issue contain info on the amounts deducted (social security, state and federal taxes, etc) be printed on parts 2 and 3 of the business check.

This system is filled with potential to bring community stakeholders together in a fundraising capacity.

It batch totals cash account lines, making it impossible to reconcile to cash: example Payroll when you have some people getting direct deposit and others a check.  

The ones I have been in contact with have always been helpful and accommodating.

The CRM platform was added to this fund accounting system.
