GiveSmart had a smartphone attachment that would allow for in-person donation support. As it currently stands, our options are to 1) sit with someone while they do a text to donate or 2) open up the donation page for the event and manually enter the person's credit card info.

Again, a swiper to capture impulse donations are offered by other platforms.

We have no use for this device since we don't do auctions.

The support folks are doing their best, but the fact that you cannot speak to someone in real time is bananas.

I thought this merger with gofundme would increase innovation, but it's slowed it to an absolute crawl.

The Salesforce integration is incredibly wonky.

It was relatively easy to use and was a great way to organize a fundraiser from the back end.

Their integration with Mailchimp is very weak; as they only send name, surname and email data to MC. But, for some bizarre reason, no data about which campaign was donated to, or whether it was a standard, recurring or peer to peer donation. How do they expect you to build donor relationships without that data?

The platform is still evolving and we find that the self-service aspect of the software (which in aggregate is a huge plus) doesn't allow for as much customization as we would like.

In making the platform user friendly to those who aren't coding experts, the site lost some flexibility with what you can do on a campaign site.

It is ready to go right away to start to build and create campaigns.

The cost is a bit prohibitive, but we were able to budget it for it once we compared Classy to other platforms and calculated the time we would save on their platform.

The benefit to using classy is that our organization can have multiple classy pages for different fundraising initiatives!!!

The sales, product and support teams are very  disconnected.

Not only is the donor experience great, but Classy keeps track of the donors in a  variety of useful ways and we receive our monies in a timely manner.  

This saves tons of time in creating a new campaign for an event or ask that repeats every year or multiple times a year.

I found Classy to be expensive for what I got as a fundraiser and administrator.

Classy allows us to create various campaigns for different events.

I have had several problems with my specific fundraiser where people try to donate and there is a glitch and it doesn't go through.

The Classy integration with Facebook has reduced friction by helping our volunteers fundraise more easily.

We don't have anything about which to complain about Classy at this time, although as we use it more often, we will assess all of its services in greater detail in the months/years ahead.
