Real-time reporting and easy integrations have allowed our team to spend less time wrestling with spreadsheets and more time cultivating relationships, stewarding donors, and planning campaigns strategically.

Our old processor would sometimes decline credit card donations if the billing address wasn't perfectly formatted, whereas Donately has helped us capture those donations more reliably - resulting in a much larger donor base over time.

The platform’s clean interface, customizable forms, and automated workflows have dramatically reduced manual entry and errors.

Their campaigns feature isn't very intuitive in my opinion, and charging an annual fee in addition to the transaction fees seems excessive.

Sometimes the integration with our email system is problematic, but that isn't necessarily an issue with Donately.

I think some people are confused by the start your own fundraiser here wording thinking they are starting something outside of our campaign but we overcome that by leaving directions in the summary.

It is also fairly simple to help donors adjust their payment information and other details.

For example we could easily view the Average gift, but when you have one large gift that throws that off, the Median would be better to report on.

Donately that it’s an excellent choice if you want a donation platform that’s powerful without being overly complex.

It's fairly simple to set up and helps us organize and keep track of our swimmers and their teams each year.

Donately has helped us retain our current donor base and easily onboard new ones as well.

In 2026, our non-profit wanted to move forward where on-line payments and ticket sales could be collected and tracked for annual membership dues as well as for paid and/or free ticketed events.   

It has allowed us to collect monies, which are automatically deposited into our linked financial institution relieving our Directors/Officers of this responsibility.

We used it for event registration, peer-to-peer campaigns, and donations. If you’re skeptical about their business model, we can tell you there are no catches or loopholes on the financial side — they took zero percent of our fundraising income.

For example, sensitive financial data can be restricted by user profile 2) On-line payments are securely processed through the STRIPE platform and 3) You don't need to have a computer background to use Zeffy.    

New donations/sales are reported as they occur, a summary of new transactions is provided weekly along with all transactions to date, and a deposit notice is also provided weekly.

Zeffy’s flexibility makes it adaptable for a wide range of events and fundraisers, which has been a big plus for our team. While we would love to see more customizable options for team member access levels, the overall value and impact of the platform have been outstanding.
