Very positive; we originally moved to Elvanto from another church database management system because of cost and the excellent customer service Elvanto provided; this was in the early years of Elvanto starting up.

You have to get a third party messaging system in order to send text messages in Elvanto.

Treasurer

The giving integration with Tithe.ly that was only one-way was a source of irritation.

The messaging is not compatible with its partner software tithe.ly.

I don't like that it's a little bit difficult to understand, in some cases you don't know what you need to do to use in a right way the functions or the tools that the software provides you

It's a massive suite that does a whole lot and it works for the most part, but it has some quirks.

Every time, I’ve been able to adjust the program to match what was requested.

It’s been fun to dig into the product and feel like we got a custom setup for our church.

I wish that the login process was more clear, especially coming from an outside source like Tithely.).

This is not the product for you if you need a simple deployment or don’t like software.

I wish it had a more modern looking/feeling interface.

I like Elvanto and have become accustomed to it's size and quirks.

Our congregation uses it weekly. Once you download the app on your phone, it is a fast and convenient way to make an offering.

We no longer promote this as a main method to tithe remotely, but still have it as an option for those that choose.

Fees. When giving to the church should be from the heart, yet planned out within your budget, it stinks that you pay 2.9% + $.30 per transaction?!

Members of our congregation have been given this option for their offerings for over a year.

So either the church gets duped or the giver.

Glueup is a critical resource for Screenworks, predominantly because there are so many functions within the one program and it also supports a broad range of complementary plug ins.

Herein starts all the company access and manual login issues that will require you to create a position just to handle -- which again, could be streamlined with one single autofill and then that hire could instead be used to grow your membership using the tools this site offers more effectively. But priority above all else -- it creates more steps for the members and when your members pay a significant amount to be able to access their account and exclusive content, it should damn well be a seamless process.

For small organizations with many contacts, but low-income / lower budget for operations (especially in the non-profit space, where profits are usually used for dedicated projects), it may be pricey.

We’re already seeing the benefits of having one centralized platform and are confident it will continue to add value as we expand its use.

I love to make events and massive mailing.

Their help line and customer response is always prompt and assists with any problems we have.  

We have been engaging with the training modules and meetings and they have been very helpful.  

Sending a mass communication to members is very simple as well.

Super basic. If I go into every other detail that trickles down from this one detail, I'd be here all day. But make sure to at least ask these questions at consult/onboarding stage.

The support team guided us step by step, making what could have been a heavy lift into a straightforward transition.

Our Membership management and reporting are streamlined as compared to the earlier process which was manual.
