The trial period also offered only so many searches before blocking out the option which felt really limiting when you are trying to get used to the software to determine if you want to pay for continuing to use it.

For a small non-profit like ours without a large development budget, Fluxx Grantseeker's flexible pricing structure including a free option is welcome.

I think some of the features that are on the paid product should be part of the free one- compared to similar products this is limited. And the jump to the first paid programme is quite a lot - inaccessible to our small charity.

The interface itself is a bit busy, with so many different options for how to navigate to a grant or due date.

The search function could be improved to allow for partial words/phrases to produce the intended result.

Moreover, I have recommended it to two small non-profits (1-20 employees) and they both have used the 'free' version it built their capacity from 1-3 grants per year to 7-10.

One negative that we have discovered is that sometimes we accidentally upload documents to the wrong part of the funder eg: to the grant rather than the accountability.  

The task function is great for setting 'tickler' deadlines to reach before the grant is actually due.

A good amount of the larger grants, which as a large parentage of what we found is listed, won't give to smaller organizations for several reasons.

I was able to apply for three Grants over Fluxx so far and really enjoyed being able to come back to the application whenever I wanted to.

After much searching for a tool to manage the many details of grant prospects, applications, and reports, I was pleased to come across Fluxx Grantseeker.

It is a huge step above outdated Excel spreadsheets, but does take some time to optimize for your organization's preferred use.
