User info can’t be linked to any external database (i.e. giving, account info, user notes, etc), so you have to run everything through them (which currently is not robust enough of a ChMS).

I know that there are many companies that do that and we are technically paying more now than we were with Subsplash. With Subsplash though there was no trial periods or no option to drop a service if you found you weren't using it. If you signed up for it you were stuck with it whether or not it fit your ministry.

Subsplash comes with a hefty price tag that is a large investment for churches. And while most of the features are what churches need, some will find limitations on the platform such as tweaking the app and website to look exactly like you want.

One of the main things I did not like about Subsplash was their tendency to charge for every small add on.

Subsplash is very easy to implement and train the users on basic operations, whether for one-time giving or recurring.

However we are constantly told to take pictures and record the glitches.  

Overall, we liked working with Subsplash and we are still using it for our website and media management.

The app is simple, and perhaps isn't completely necessary for every church.  

No login is required to use the app, and I find this very freeing.

Uploading media and information is simple, and it's seamlessly added throughout the platform, from the app to the website.

We have yet to see a decrease in our fees after years of use.

This allows you to go back months later and still have the connection between the notes you took and the sermon, even allowing you to easily watch the sermon again.

Your videos are searchable, archived with great organization, and playable on any device.

Building an app can be complicated and they really help you through the process all the way to getting your app approved to launch.

The video post-processing after a video upload can take a long time.

This was especially true during the beginning of COVID when churches were switching to using more online video.

The way videos are sorted is also a bit strange (It doesn’t seem to be by time.).

I love the flexibility to customize and send push notifications on the go where things seemlesly share between the app and the website portal.

I would like the header bar to be horizontal versus vertical - like reading a book left to right.

The features are limited and I would say it is only useful for actual churches.

Once you are emailed the link, it is easy to set up to have your giving go directly to the organization(s) of your choice.  

Usually I end up having to retype every single line of the Notes I took during the sermon and hope that it synchronizes at some point.

It is mainly informational content that you can add.

It’s been very easy for our church to use the app builder to publish events, media, and notifications.

There are more affordable options out there that essentially do the same thing and cost way less per year but they aren't as beautifully designed.

The hardest part is the initial setup and roll out of the product but the team will walk you through step by step instructions.

We just switched payroll compnies and they didnt require this much informatiion. If it wa my decision, we would totally drop Flocknote, but although my Pastor isn't happy about this invasive inquiry, he doesn't want to make a change at this time.

When I get an email saying there is an approval request, I click the link and there is never anything there. If I go into the group at a later date, then I see the person as pending approval. When I send out the acts prayer request, I never get a copy even though I’m in the group? Whenever I have to do anything as an admin, I have to log in multiple times.

One reason we're trying this is because sometimes when we send out large volume emails (i.e., to the whole congregation), some were ending up in people's spam or junk folders, and they weren't receiving them.

Both our older parishioners who head up ministry groups as well as students and staff are able to create their own communications.

It’s great that you can have as many groups as you need and send an unlimited amount of messages for one flat rate, so you never have to worry about going over a limit.

I am not sure what I like least - there is just so much to like that anything that I can think of just gets cancelled out.
