Pros

Contains the vast majority of required features to operate a successful e-commerce store. Nice layout, not too bulky, and sticks to what its good at.
The ability to customize reports in word is amazing. The team at Dear are still updating and improving the system.
DEAR is a fantastic system which will manage the inventory and sales/purchase process for various channels.

Pros

Overall experience is great. Skubana has an amazing support team that helps us to make our work more efficient.
Complex but intuitive product, and the client service reps were fantastic - super communicative, knowledgeable and proactive.
They are focused on building features that help you sell more. And in the 2 years we have been using the Skubana software it has gotten better with the new features they have released.

Cons

Over the past 6 months this has gone from bad to worse. The odd hang, became frequent hangs, then time outs on the server.
Frustrating, unsatisfying and I have real worries about the ability for the software to keep up with my business as it grows.
Often times I do run in to a problem, either I entered something wrong and can't fix it, or I need a bulk operation done and need support.

Cons

It was painful because after all was done, we found out through another Skubana employee that we did not set up our products/inventory properly during our on-boarding. This was quite troubling.
Furthermore, we had a very poor experience communicating with the the support team.
Due to its complexity it takes some time to fully configure and use all the features available. We are also missing a couple of features which are due, according to Skubana in 2016.

Inventory and sales order management

Pros

I like that it offers so much. You can search in many ways, the amount of information available by reports is GREAT!

Cons

It is extremely expensive to add a user. I don't think that it should cost that much to add a user. I also don't like that it was setup initially by me as a user and now that I am an Advisor, I can't change that. It is costing the company extra money to pay for me as a user. Being that I am the one that recommended the software, I think this is unfair.

Orderhive is an excellent solution for small and mid-level businesses. We have set it up for many clients and all of them have had an excellent experience with it.

Pros

Orders synchronization, purchase order management, inventory management, and order fulfillment have really helped our clients stay organized and grow their business.

Cons

There aren't any cons really. There were a few issues a year ago but Orderhive has resolved all of them.

Order management however it is not as intuitive as you would like

Cons

Many issues are difficult when operating with DEAR/Cin7 Core. They do not allow you flexibility with the pricing. I purchased a annual subscription to save one month cost however, if you do so, if you need to add a POS for 1 month, you will have to purchase the entire annual year just to use it for one month. Customer support is absolutely useless and API issues can occur which cause issue with accounting. Overall they are not a great software to use but gets the job done however, at a costly amount. Customer support takes a long time to reply and half of the support are pretty useless.

Pros

The number of integrations that Orderhive actively manages is astounding, and we have run into very few issues with them - very well maintained.

Cons

We're a US based company and they are India based. The timezone and communication challenges, especially during setup, can be very difficult.

I love to use DEAR system

Stock control, purchase and suppliers management, easy order fulfilment, easy-to-build reports

Pros

I am an eBay seller. I've been searching for warehouse management system about a year. DEAR is my choice for now, I like it and have no plans to change it for another system. It is easy to use, the main pros for me besides stock, purchase and sales management (other systems do not always include them): - integrations with certain marketplaces (eBay, Etsy, Shopify) and services; - multicurrency support; - auto-assembly products support.

Cons

Main cons, they are minor: - auto-disassembly does not work, have to disassemble products manually; - does not have integrations with some marketplaces (WISH for example); - can not update tracking information at marketplaces after an order was shipped; - templates and merge fields are not easy to understand.

Pros

Cin7 Core is feature rich and does inventory management very well. We also use it for stock control and order fulfilment.

Cons

For what's become a relatively large monthly investment, the support could be improved when we (rarely) need it. Even though we started small, each additional user, API and integration has quickly increased the total subscription price.

Simple yet powerful

This works for me. Simple yet powerful enough for my colleagues using DEAR for the other features i.e. order management, inventory, stock control, invoicing etc

Pros

I can generate a quote/sales order (SO) in a matter of minutes, sometimes by cloning prior orders. DEAR will show how the SO is progressing from quote stage to ordered and invoiced, giving me a list of "follow-ups" for quotes 'on hold'. Emailing from DEAR and attaching technical documents, pictures and T&C is a breeze. I Cc myself in for keeping all my quotes on record in Outlook.

A system that gives you more but costs less

We used to use a UK competitor for our inventory control and order management but it caused too many problems for us so we left. We then found Order Hive and are very impressed by the simplicity and the pricing structure. We would highly recommend this system.

Pros

Simple, efficient and cost effective.

Cons

Initial training is lacking as they only give you a quick demo and you then have to ask a lot of questions once you start using the system.

Great New order management App with superb potential

A streamlined order management and processing system so we can efficiently get orders out the door. Stock management to allow us to keep stock levels correct in our warehouse and if we used accross multiple channels i.e. ebay amazon and our own website.

Pros

Very cost effective app that has great integration with Bigcommerce to allow us to efficienty mange stock and process our orders. Currently running to versions V1 and V2 the simplicity and ease of use of V2 is great (currently in Beta) but still, V1 gives you all the daily features you need, like editing orders shipping and stock management. Support is amazing. Allways on hand through the chat interface, they are very responsive even in the middle of the night. Very welcoming to ideas and suggestions for improvements to the system and are lightning fast at adding new features.

Cons

Having gotten used to our previous system they do need some automation to reduce button clicks. On the cards for development but still not available are Rules system for automating selecting shipping methods. Really need a template system to allow creation of our own packing slip/delivery notes and invoices. Would love a template system for emails being sent to customers

Still getting used to the DEAR system, however, if compare with other inventory systems we used before, I must say DEAR is the answer, so far very happy! It’s all there, just need a bit of time to learn how to navigate around. Selling on Amazon & eBay? No problem..... (once everything is set up correctly) DEAR will do all your daily routine for you. Using an eCommerce website (in our case it's WooCommerce),...

Xero & Dear system user (new user experience). Everything you need to manage warehouse inventory! Detailed Inventory information, Order process flow, purchasing order management, stock control, eCommerce website eBay/Amazon integration, - easy to use once you get used to it. Helpful support team, and plenty of information provided to understand and learn DEAR systems.

Cons

Takes some time to know the DEAR systems (navigate) due to many features. I guess we need to use DEAR systems for some time to get a better understanding and therefore, give a revised review of experience and possible Cons we might have.

Pros

The system does almost everything. I own a wholesale business: my staff and I use it for inventory maintenance, invoicing, purchase order, sales and loss report, customer contact, expense and receipt management.

Cons

Lack of immediate customer service through phone service or online chatroom. Monthly invoice pdfs can be downloaded as one large pdf.

Great Product, Great Support

Very happy as it saves us plenty of time and headaches to know exactly what is on hand and what the order statuses are.

Pros

Easy onboarding process, had good support and was provided with demos on how to do the various tasks. Keeps accurate stock control and order management that keeps our warehouse and ecommerce store up to date.

Cons

Took a bit of getting used to. Sometimes the connection is a bit slow - not sure if it is our NBN internet connection or the platform.

Pros

Orderhive was the only suitable order management system that I could find, that would provide a integration with Royal Mail (UK delivery service). Whilst this took some time to achieve (about 2 months), the integration works very well, enabling us to print off shipping labels without manually entering in the address. Orderhive also integrates with our online store, which allows the orders to be synced with ease. They listen to feedback and have great support. Orderhive have all the features necessary for our order management.

Cons

Nothing much, it's not perfect, but they're working towards it by listening to customers opinions. Maybe faster integration time, although they did run into some complications with our integration (probably why no one else does it with Royal Mail).

A must have for any product based business

Pros

I use OrderHive to as my inventory and order management app. It keeps track of everything I have on hand, orders I have coming in (from Etsy, Amazon, Shopify, etc.), and I can input my own orders from sales reps or wholesale accounts. I can then print packing slips, send invoices, input inventory I have coming in,, and much more! The support is very quick and helpful though I haven't needed much help since it runs smoothly. I highly recommend this app to keep track of all you have going on.

Cons

I was previously using an order management software that sold, so I was fairly familiar with how they work, I needed some help getting a few things set up, but it was smooth sailing after that.

Pros

Honestly I expected the support to be poor but it was actually great, and they're very responsive and have a lot of knowledge about their platform which is typically not the case with other order management software.

Cons

There are a few things but I've suggested to them, and the requests are pretty reasonable so I'm sure they'll get ironed out at some point.

Lack of Communication with customers

Usually good, sometimes very frustrating.

Pros

It manages my inventory and order and is cloud based.

Cons

When Dear is upgrading its system, customers can find the software extremely slow or not working at all. This can go for weeks at a time causing massive frustration for my staff around the country as well as disruption to my business. The lack of communication and support from DEAR mean you feel little loyalty to the product.

Pros

Intelligent, well developed platform based on the first hand e-commerce experience. After a disastrous and unsuccessful integration with CIN7, switching to Skubana came as a solution we were dreaming about.

Cons

The integration process was challenging mostly for two reasons: the apps we had to integrate where not on the level we needed the to be, especially the ones that were to connect 3PL and accounting. Unify can not work with Zero so we had to cancel that app.
