It's also been great in terms of syncing with my website on woocommerce, and when there have been issues (probably entirely due to woocommerce), customer support has been so responsive and even followed up down the line to see if the issues have gotten better. Plus, they've introduced improvements in the syncing capabilities with online merchant platforms since I joined craftybase.

It has great functionality for tracking manufacturing processes from raw materials to order completion, including full compliance with EU tracebility requirements.

To have a program like Craftybase allows me to capture all of the data I need for our certifications and government compliance in Australia. Plus, all of the data for our accountant at tax time.

Using Craftybase is really worth the money paid, it has saved me a lot of time to managing my inventory, generating quotes for custom products, and reordering materials for big orders.

It’s a huge time waisted creating all our manufactures, then scrolling through all our ingredients and to see if there are any in the red, this is the only way to know if we can even make the items we want to.

The recipes are amazing, it figures out my COGS, helps me determine pricing for wholesale and keeps track of my spending.

Our Ecwid and Tik Tok sites currently don't sync which means that I have to manually enter all orders.  

Having a large variety of products means my order lines rack up each month even without a large amount of orders and if i go over the cost is an extreme jump.

We can also enter purchase orders and have each department fill in their own information.

I'm sure the order imports are streamlined on the US version, but in Canada, I wish I had the ability to edit imported order prices or an editable exchange rate feature would be added.

For example, I use product bundling plugins on my website, and they don't sync properly with craftybase.

Overall it's an excellent product with great support, and the inability to connect to my accounting system is outweighed by the features and benefits it provides me with

As a product maker keeping up with all our supplies and materials has been an absolute nightmare as we have grown through the years, moving forward we needed to do something different, but there was not an answer for our unique industry, until we found Craftybase, I can't describe the joy of finally getting my inventory, recipes, materials all finally organized, and within a few clicks of the keyboard I know exactly what I have on hand, what I need to order, what I can wait to order, no more ordering things we don't need by accident, and the reports that come along with Craftybase are an absolute HUGE BONUS!

It made my organic inspection easy because I could just easily pull up the batches for my mass balance audit.

I need to update inventory twice, once in Craftybase when we make the manufacture, then I must turn around and update it in my Shopify, if I do not update in my Shopify, our Point of Sale in store forces us to do additional steps on the register to complete the sale, so thus a pain, but bearable, but it would be fantastic if the manufacture we created automatically updated our stock in Shopify.

The documentation for Craftybase is thorough, but can be a bit overwhelming for some folks who are new to tracking manufacturing builds, inventory, etc.

I am better able to run the business knowing my profit per product made and love that it allows me to add in my cost of time.

I love that you can create recipes for the products and then even output a BOM from that.

We make soap and skin care products, so I have many manufacturing recipes, suppliers, and costs to account for.

For a truly small business, the pricing and consistent feature-baiting to the next subscription are almost not viable.

s. I love how it calculates the cost per bar and factors in labor and overhead, which makes pricing much easier and more accurate.

Overall it's been an improvement over Soapmaker and I like being able to assign projects and check things from home.

Setup took a lot of time and some of my employees haven't liked how long it takes to get their batch paperwork going.

While there is a bit of a learning curve and it takes a good amount of time in the beginning to import all your materials, assign recipes to products, etc, once you’re in a groove it’s easy peasy to maintain.

It tracks everything for me; orders,  expenses, manufactures,all my products.

The system flows well together and it allows you to edit things when you mess up on an entry.

It's laborious to have to change the batch numbers on the guns.

The tracking of consignment better and not being able to put enter in a deposit down for wholesale orders.

The tool is great for tracking handmade inventory, but could use better UX and more integration options.

There are a few things that I would like to have as options on the site, but they are very minor (such as: drop-downs for categories, etc)  

I don't like that when I assign a manufacture it doesn't give any warning about a low-stock component/material.

So many complex backend issues that I'm sure compete across the different merchant platforms.

There aren't a lot of affordable options for indie makers and overall this is the best program I have found that connects to all the other platforms I use and makes tracking SO much easier!

If you forget to enter a product "manufacture" and update the quantity through a "stocktake", it won't calculate cost for an order.

Overall, Craftybase has performed well for our handcrafted goat milk soap and lotion.  

It also imports orders directly from my website as well as square invoices.

I would like to be able to create Purchase Orders to send to vendors directly from inside of Craftybase.  

Their customer service is always on point—whether I have a general question or run into a technical issue, they’re friendly, helpful, and incredibly quick to respond.

What I like least, though, is the learning curve—setting everything up in the beginning felt overwhelming, especially importing products and materials.
