In my experience, EZLynx is a bland, basic software that does not offer high-level functionality. While it works as a simple comparative rater and client management tool, it lacks more advanced features, robust integrations, and customization that a growing agency really needs.

Understanding how to pull reports and how to add in commissions was not as intuitive as the rest of the system

It's a minor inconvenience in an otherwise streamlined process, but worth noting for agencies that want to promise exact pricing upfront.

I like the AMS functionality and reporting, but that's about it...

I wish they had a better system to train, the learning curve seems a bit longer than other CRM's, and I wish they had a better way to import from spread sheets.

Everything from trying to figure out who to call and what dept they work in when I don't understand the phone selections (I had to listen to the names under each phone extension, hang up and try to next to find anyone I need to talk to), I was told 2 months and it's been 4 and we still aren't up and running,  Service blows off complaints that affect rating and after 5 weeks I FINALLY had someone actually look and I'm right and the selections to get an accurate quote missing.  

You have to start the quote there. If you wanted to use their system for payment - you have to log into the carrier anyways. If you are creating a system to store everything you should be able to store things in it and process things from it.

I wanted more features specific to the industry and EZ Lynx provided the answer.

Onboarding:  this is a laughable, what this really means is that you pourchase the software and put down your $1,000 or $2,000 and then after a few days you are giving an appointment for a MONTH later to get started.  

the trainig call when you do get onto the phone with the trainer after a month you have 100 questions and dont know where to start or what to ask.  

Customer service is an absolute joke, dont ever plan on anyone answering the phone the hold times are 10-30-50 minutes long so you have no choiuce but to have someone call you back.  

Support doesn't even use a proper signature for you to reference who you are communicating with; they hide behind emails.

you will feel the pressure to wrap up any question you might have so they can get off the phone and direct you to the videos and self learning.

Emails are find for simple issues but try to explain a complex problem over email.

Not great - report features, lack of customer support and high price tag are not worth it.

THERE ARE MANY ERRORS IN THE FINAL RATES.

I talked to 2 rep's and they were very upset that it's not working or rating correctly.

She responds to pacify me but nothing get's done about the issues I'm having.  

I was supposed to get 3 months free during conversion and have been charged.  

They gave me an e-mail for someone to complain to.  

No one to talk to, you call voicemail hell.

When I was an insurance agent, that program had everything I needed when speaking with my clients.

It is costing our agency over $1,000 per month for the remianed of our contracted term.  

My agency was purchased and I contacted Vertafore, AMS360, to let them know that the new [sensitive content hidden] wanted to use a different software package.

It's not very customizable and can be painfully slow at times.

Very sad....truly not a company I want to do business with if this is how they are treating their "agency partners".

Some reports do not finalize, which is fine because that is completed in the carrier site after bridging over.

We switched to another vendor in 2014 due to valuable increased features and price.

Wasn't easy to work through.   If you didn't have extensive training it was going to take you a while to pick it up.

WE FEEL THE ACCOUNTING COULD BE LESS CONFUSING FOR THOSE WHO ARE NOT FAMILAR WITH ACCOUNTING.

I like the features that lets you key in different types of info into the one system.

Grouping assignment requires multiple reports requiring export to Excel for any sort of reason.

Product is too reliant on "knowing what data to enter" to provide accurate report information.

Even reading emails comes up in a single line "text" format which is a pain to read.

Cost- it is staggering that Vertafore charges premium user rates for a product engine developed 1989-92 (before the internet).

Not user friendly for insurance agents and account managers that do the day to day work on acord forms or submissions.

Import/Export feature has limited information capture.  

Product may be suitable for agency working with small business or personal lines.

Many processes are too tedious - such as running meaningful reports.  

This product is definitely not suited to agencies working in upper middle or large market accounts.  

Customer support was always helpful if I had login issues or issues running any certain types of activities.

Vertafore won't reimburse for lost "up-time".
