I liked how we can send customers messages. And how we can charge customers the deposit and payments through the invoicing option

How much you pay additionally for extra functionality for like price books, crm software, camera usage for photos of job sites.

This lack of traceability compliance means jobs can be edited post-client billing, with no way for our office to confirm what clients have received, as HCP can't retrieve it beyond 7 days

I was promised a $100 Gift card for attending a Zoom call and not only held up my end but purchased a plan for the second time.

There’s no real phone-based support—only an answering service that redirects you back to chat.

HCP informed me they cannot determine the exact date of the change or provide copies of emails sent to customers during that period.

Complained that I gave them over a week to cancel and they refunded me but because I'm not in the USA it was less $10 because exchange rate movement. Since I've canceled they have phoned me multiple times each time I ask them to stop calling me and they don't respect it and call back.

Not customizable enough for our business.

Housecall Pro is a little more expensive then some of the other softwares to get into.

They began to take away or charge more for the features we were used to having.

This completely negates the usefulness of sending emails directly from Housecall Pro.

After winning credit card disputes Housecall Pro took it upon themselves to withhold depositing my funds which total over 4,000 dollars.  

This adds another frustrating layer of delay when trying to service clients quickly.

My main grievance: Emails sent to clients are done through HCP without providing the pros with copies of what's been sent.

We love using HCP in our office it has streamlined so many processes for us.

The interface is easy to use, allowing service providers to manage schedules and customer info efficiently.

The reporting features are not the greatest.

They blocked a credit card payment options for my account for the reason that my customer(foreign citizen) paid by his own foreign credit card my invoice which sent with Housecall Pro provided form. After they said- you have a chance for review after 6 months.

Consequently, every PDF invoice sent to customers now displays these profane words at the bottom.

The interface with QuickBooks can be quirky depending on the customers payment method.

However, during this update, some profane words were mistakenly entered into the license box and saved.

They are withholding my money and could would not provide a reason when I started recording the call.  

I hope management takes this feedback seriously—it’s not coming from a place of dislike for the product, but frustration with the direction it’s going.

It’s easy to learn, the interface is user-friendly, and the CRM and invoicing tools are intuitive.

There are many really good thing in the basic scheduling, estimates, service plans, jobs and such.   But, my level of frustration with the administrative side of this program is equivalent to how good the dispatch and job creation side.
