What is IKAROS?
IKAROS is a modern, browser-based software for your receivables management, with which all stages of a claim can be processed: commercial, amicable, court, post-court, and long-term monitoring.
For this purpose, a wealth of functions is already included in the scope of delivery-e.g. the full support of jointly and severally liable constellations.
In order to ensure the optimal transparency and assignment of the parties involved in collections, a clear separation between contractual obligation and legal claim is made in IKAROS.
With the four editions starter, basic, plus, and enterprise, IKAROS also has the right solutions for every company, from start-ups to small and medium-sized enterprises to international corporations a SaaS solution or in the classic variants rent or purchase.
The attractive user interface combines the technical advantages of a browser interface with an appealing user experience. It can be personalized and comes with further individual setting options to make the operation as intuitive as possible.
This is complemented by sophisticated workflow management, which enables descriptive storage of the entire process and ensures traceable changes to existing processes. The high degree of automation of these processes also enables fast data processing exactly according to your specifications. Thus, a large number of cases pass through the system completely automatically without your intervention.
For more advanced requirements, the software also provides numerous additional customizing options, which, among other things, enable the integration of custom parameters. This is how IKAROS becomes your very own IKAROS.
Key benefits of using IKAROS
• By using multi-tier architecture, multithreading and caching, IKAROS G4 achieves significantly better utilization of available resources on a single machine. In addition, there is separation of functions and horizontal scalability depending on the edition. In this way, individual components such as the database, web server and/or application server can also be distributed across several machines in a server farm (both as a separate layer and in parallel mode, e.g. several application servers), thus multiplying the system throughput. The scaling of the database is done automatically. The scaling of the layers must be planned. With the help of a load balancer, the existing hardware can be easily expanded.
• IKAROS G4 is based on a SOA (service-oriented architecture), which means that all IKAROS functions are available as a service that users can also use from their own programs. There is detailed service documentation for this. In addition, Custom Code (currently JavaScript and LINQ) and self-written plug-ins can be used to extend the functions of IKAROS or integrate external services/functions.
• The graphical workflow editor is the basic tool in IKAROS that can be used without programming knowledge. This allows you to create your own workflows simply by dragging and dropping.
• Various professional modules, e.g. for the automated judicial dunning procedure in Germany or the eSchKG in Switzerland.
• Interfaces in the area of payment transactions, electronic legal transactions, and much more.
