Overall, I was really happy with the overall experience that I had while using Vector. My school system moved on fairly quickly but I wish we would move back to it.
The positive aspects of Vector (when used in a school atmosphere) is that it is very user-friendly and the data that Vector provides is quite in-depth. The data is easily manageable but still provides enough insight to be usable.
There aren't too many cons about using Vector as a managing service for schools (which, again, is how I used the program). The price was considerable but, at the end of the day, I do not know if you are going to be able to find a service that is cheaper that provides a solid user interface or one that collects the data is as an effective way.

So far a good software suite. We've been using it for over a year now and are still finding new ways to leverage the system to benefit our programs
Great software package containing the 'frequent flyers' of HSE Management. The Industrial Hygiene section is a great feature that is not commonly found in other solutions. Scheduling tasks and events helps keep the HSE team on track. Easy implementation
No visual representation of risk assessment process Metric dashboards are not easy to customize. Notifications could be cleaned up a bit. No SDS Management element

Customer support follows a script, which means they have no idea how the software actually works. Their development team seems to be overseas and thrid-party, so when needing answers or assistance on customization or glitches in their system, no one can assist. We spent a lot of time and money on setting up the system and creating forms within the modules, which put us over budget for this project. Industry Safe is set up to require the user to pay extra for any additional assistance, which is deceptive and unethical. I would not recommend this platform to anyone.
I was sold on the "idea" of this software.
Set up time was long and costly. There were several glitches in their system that prevented us from using and updating forms in a timely manner. The sales team lied about the available features. After purchasing the software, I was told that vehicle and equipment info could be entered, but no reports could be generated because they "currently do not have that feature." Had I been told the truth prior...

Using Industry Safe has created efficiencies that have allowed me to shift my focus a bit during the Pandemic. I would not have been able to manage it all with out it.
The program is very easy to use and is integral in creating our culture of Safety.
We do have to import our hours from our payroll system. I would like to see this feature be a bit more seamless.

This product allows for seamless Incident Reporting with ease of use for my end users. I also like the way the software integrates our OSHA and DOT reporting to ensure we are asking the correct questions and documenting accordingy.
The features I like the most are the ability to customize almost all forms to suit our needs. Since our business is an amalgam of different business types, it is often difficult to find a product to suit our needs. This ability has made the software work for us, with minimum effort. I also like that the OSHA and DOT forms are auto generated. This makes reporting easy, and not tedious.
Reporting can be somewhat confusing to use. While I really like and appreciate that you can report on all fields, it would be helpful to have a few more "basic" built in reports. I would also like to see more tutorials written for utilizing the reporting section of this product. I would also like to see multi-select fields on a form for even more data. This would help collect all the applicable info needed.
