Pros

“We wish there was a way to customize some of the alerts further - for instance, we would love to be able to assign a "Speeding over posted" alert for something like 13 mph over posted for non-highway driving, but for highway driving we'd want the alert to be "speeding over" 20.”

Elizabeth W.

Coordinator

“It comes in handy for tracking where my driver is on a certain delivery route… it also allows us to track how long our driver is at each stop or if they are someplace they aren’t supposed to be while on the clock…”

Lisa Z.

Owner

“Working with one step GPS was a pleasure every step of the way they made everything so easy and the service provided was flawless When our van was in fact stolen again, our GPS and their service was critical in, not only following it In route, but recovering it and having all the data, the authorities needed to press charges even when we sold our van the process of movie the tracker to the new owner was just As painless.”

Jillian C.

Owner

Cons

“With real-time tracking and data collection, I sometimes worry about privacy and the security of our data.”

Brandon J.

Director of Digital solutions.

“The only Con from me for Motive was it is very hard to get ahold of a live customer service agent.”

ROBERT M.

DOT Safety and Compliance manager

“Used it for couple of months now trying to cancel and they won’t refund me for the months that I won’t be using.”

Makhmud B.

Driver

Cons

“When using the map, operator error, it will blow up so much we can not see the truck on the service map, this is when we are trying to drill down to closest city and distance to next job”

Carolina M.

Vice President

“Alert configurations can be a little bit of a hassle to set up if you are assigning different preferences to different alerts.”

Elizabeth W.

Coordinator

“There's no way for us to add the GPS map to our office tv without mirroring from a computer. If I have to use a computer to mirror I may as well not have it on the big screen.”
