The time I needed to contact Customer Support, they were not helpful--I got the run around and they closed my ticket without the issue being resolved.

All of this means that every time they misunderstand or mishandle something, you as the customer bear the burden of calling in and they put you through a 1-4 hour ringer to be waiting on hold, periodically come back to tell you that they are working on the issue but so far out of 10 different major issues I experienced over 10 years, not a single one of them ever got resolved.

QuickBooks Online Advanced can get expensive quickly, especially for small or mid-sized businesses that may not fully use all of its features.

If you have no issues because you are a simple business and have very simple accounting, you can get a decent experience and good value for what this software offers. If you are more advanced and actually care about what your chart of accounts looks like and want to customize it with account numbers and change the default names, beware. If you also want to have control over what get classed where and use accrual basis of accounting where you regularly enter journal entries - my experience is that you will be frustrated from time to time with the system creating new accounts, duplicating accounts and chainging the field mapping in a way where one day you wake up and realize that your Payroll Liabilities are a complete mess with duplicate accounts and inconsistent entries.

When I change charges/expenses to one it changes all of them even if I have set up rules. When doing payroll that is awful, I have to manually change them and pull a report to do so.

pediatric therapist

It is hard to learn at first in terms of linking credit cards appropriately to a parent card and learning about journal entries, opening balance equity, and splitting a charge to categorize.

MULTI BATCH INVOICING At the ease you can create multiple in group invoice, as well import any invoice you need to input

Operations and Finance Coordinator

The versatility of QuickBooks Online lets my company sync it to the various platforms we use such as Rippling, PEX, Limelight and others as well.

takes some time to learn so there was a learning curve and we had to jump through some hoops to get up and running

Accountin Manager

QuickBooks Online Advanced is great for growing businesses with its strong features, but some reports and customization aren’t as detailed as the Desktop version.

We use QB for payroll, taxes, invoicing and project management it is central to our business operations

Accounts and Operations Coordinator

Sometimes, it is slow with the server that we used provided by Amazon, but there seem to be no bugs or other issues like that, so just the speed problems here and there.

Every now and then, reports don’t quite match what you expect, or bank connections act up, which can be frustrating if you’re on a deadline.

Coordinator

It is a great resource to keep track of all the funds going in and out, bills to pay, expenses going out, and events that need to be paid for.

Controller

For most scenarios, it is necesssary to have another software connected to manage it

Corporate and Strategic Planning Officer

I also like that QBOA match payments with POS and invoices to detect discrepancies prior to sending.
