Workiz is also missing some functions that you think would be obvious to anyone using a home service software, for example: You are unable to make invoicing required before closing out a job (techs consistently forget to create invoices leaving this up to office staff to catch).

Almost every invoice over the past year was populated in Workiz but was not showing a collected payment, so the system was showing hundreds of thousands of dollars overdue in payments over the past year.

We experienced extensive QuickBooks sync issues that skewed our financial reporting, making it impossible to know what our true financial situation was.

Appointment rescheduling is a disaster – If a client requests to reschedule, the system does not notify them, and there’s no way to automate this process.

For the entirety of our time with Workiz, we dealt with calls coming in where we would hear hold music, but no one was on the other end.

Limited automations – Even on the Ultimate plan, you were still limited to a certain number of automatons you could set up.

Their “smart” answering system is a joke – Genius Answering (Jessica) can’t even tell customers the prices of your services, yet it costs $200 per month!

On the fifth, everything was restored—but only after over 100 calls, follow-up emails, and unnecessary delays.

The intuitive dashboard made it easy to schedule jobs, track technicians, and handle customer communication all in one place.

It is difficult to get a hold of customer support, and when you do, they are limited to what they can help you with.

Overall, the concept is definitely a great business move- to have all you need for business in one app: phone, messaging, automations, invoicing, tech assignment, etc. is very convenient!

The mobile app, although useful, can occasionally be glitchy, leading to delays in updates or missed notifications.

Workiz is a service that charges you at every step, performs poorly, and has an endless list of issues.

So, if a customer calls a competitor who also uses Workiz, they’ll hear the exact same “Jessica” answering the phone.

You can’t do it through your account—you have to call or email, but that doesn’t work either.

They offered a 30-day trial with a money-back guarantee, but when I tried to contact an agent to cancel, no one responded.

It's costed my business thousands of dollars in extra time and mind space, and I'm pretty sure my accountant hates me now.

After realizing Workiz wasn’t the right fit, we made the decision not to renew.

Unreasonably expensive system – CRM + phone service costs around $400 per month.

The onboarding team did an embarrassing job of importing our historic data.

I am a part of nearly every social media HVAC contractors group out there and have contributed significantly over the years.

I think the software is getting worse and worse with bugs and updates.

There are a few things I grew to appreciate about Workiz like the automations, but there's way more to the story.

We have been waiting over a week to get a support response and a call back.

Couple of things: 1: The mobile app phone dialer does not connect to wireless headphones.

Money Definitely comes first........Comes out the first of every month at 7am actually. If there happens to not be enough money in the account,  THEY RESTRICT ACCESS.   

Customer paid me nearly $700.00 for the repair of a washer and dryer [sensitive content hidden] ,   in the early afternoon time.   

These ongoing problems have caused significant damage to my company, leading to frustration and hindered productivity.
