Pros

The best thing about this software is the customer support. It is superior and love the personal touch and that you are actually talking to someone live.
The check in process is super important because that's like a first impression, so I love how we can customize it to certain visitors.
Super easy to setup and more cost-effective than the competitors. We tried Envoy and iVisitor and this is a better product.

Pros

We love the ability to download the log of visitors and this helps with our PCI compliance.
The ease of getting people signed in really helps in creating a better flow for the day. It is also easy to capture all of the encounters for the day.
I started looking for automated solutions and I found Envoy. The software is very user friendly and it has been a great kaizen to the office team.

Cons

Our staff is now immediately notified with a delivery is made or a client presents for a session. No more checking the lobby a dozen times.
It does not stick well to most fabrics to usually within a few mins the name tag is lost somewhere.
The only problems we've had, is when there is an apple update, the iPad is not compatible with the iPad Receptionist app. I have to continually delete and re-download the program and printer.

Cons

I've heard people having trouble downloading the app on their phone, however, that's the only negative feedback I've heard and it wasn't a personal experience.
That has been the most confusing to many Executives , Managers, etc.
The main "problem" is that we don't use the app to its full potential, but the parts we don't use are not necessary for our business.

Great visitor management product for our 10 person office. Super easy to setup and more cost-effective than the competitors. We tried Envoy and iVisitor and this is a better product.

Ease of whole process

Pros

It has made the life easier for both visitor and receptionist. No paper work, the visitor can easily enter the information using the Ipad app and the notification goes straight to the relevant person. Very easy and impressive layout. Dashboard shows all related details.

Cons

There should be an android version as well. Also internet is necessary for it to work so in case of any internet issue the system does not work.

Your Search Stops With Envoy!

Envoy solved all of our visitor problems! We were looking for a sleek, modern set-up, and needed to be able to print name badges for visitors, WITH pictures. Envoy checked all the boxes! And don't even get me started on their customer service!! I need more stars to properly express how wonderful they are to work with.

Pros

The ease of use! Some of our visitors have never used an iPad before, but the app makes it easy for ANYONE to sign in. Also, the dashboard makes it very easy for our receptionist to know exactly who's in the building. And don't get me started on the text alerts! Everyone here LOVES them!

Cons

The only drawback would be the high price of entry. However, Envoy proves their worth, so I only list it to have something in the con column.

Our visitors are very impressed!

Your visitors will love using the iPad app to register (much impressive than the usual pen/paper, or receptionist doing all the typing). Notifications are very useful to let you know when a visitor has arrived. Pre-registration sends them an email which can be customized to include map directions, SOP's in the office, etc. All logs are easily downloadable for numbers and data analytics (This is good for office planning).

Pros

The iPad app is very user-friendly. Just a few taps, and we get to capture important visitor info (including photo). It gives the front desk a wow factor. The notifications is the feature most appreciated by our company, since they get notified in real time via email/sms/slack upon visitor registration of their guests. The pre-registration of visitors makes the visitor experience more pleasant. They receive an email/calendar invite about their appointment (which is customizable). Envoy also provides basic analytics dashboard to quickly view how many visitors there are/have been, and which persons/places are most visited. The visitor log is easy to extract as .csv for further data analytics.

Cons

There is no provision to use Android devices instead of an iPad. Currently, it's not possible to select multiple hosts (persons to visit/destination).

Easily see whos in the building and number of visitors we have coming to the office.

Pros

Easily review who's in the building and because its simpler for people to sign in they are doing so quickly and freeing up the receptionist for other tasks.

Cons

Not sure I can think of any. We haven't ran across any problems, so far! But if we do they are super responsive on the 'Online Chat' feature to help us!

Fast updates when initially adding guests. Like how easy it is to get guests into the system for those who need to know (ie: receptionist, lobby security guard, actual guest, etc.)

Cons

Envoy Visitor and Badge printing system

Overall, the system has worked well for us. We have three iPad locations at three different entrances. Multiple sites are using the Envoy system.

Pros

Digital visitor log, instead of paper visitor log. Email to employee when a visitor arrives (receptionist does not need to do this). Visitors sign an NDA and that they have no COVID symptoms when they arrive, and this is stored. A photo of the visitor is taken. The configuration of the system is easy and flexible. A visitor log can easily be exported to an Excel file.

Cons

There could be many more features than there currently are. I assume that as Envoy matures, more features will be added and included in the basic system.

Wow-factor for our guests/visitors! Ease of processing visitors for our receptionists/security, and instant notifications to the hosts. We are able to digitize and automate our visitor registration workflow. The notifications are great (e.g., thru e-mail, sms, slack). The iPad user interface is user-friendly and customizable. We also get to extract all the data and the built-in dashboard also has some visual analytics for easy reference. The customer support is fast and the staff is friendly to deal with.

Terrific Visitor Management & Contact tracing, OH MY!

Overall, Envoy is really a game changer for us - we are able to "Protect" the office and free-up our FTE receptionist to work on other projects and participate in meetings as needed.

Pros

Simple, intuitive and flexible registration and visit management - great integration capability with our Azure AD as well as our MSTeams and email... Notifications of visitors, delivery and with the added Protect module, we have built in capacity and contact tracing that really help us keep in tune with office workers. With the capability of contactless sign-in we have a full 360 degree view of workers, visitors, delivery and contact tracing across the board. Truly puts our mind at ease knowing we can count on Envoy!

Cons

Couple minor challenges with integrations to Azure AD, but technical support was quick to rectify our errors.

Pros

The simplicity of this software. For visitors, just key in your details, smile, then the system will notify the person you are going to visit. For the host, you can set if you are expecting someone in order to lessen the time in the registration part.

Cons

I hope a feature where you can reply will be made available since the receptionist caters a lot of visitor. It will be great if you can just reply if you are available or not

Company guests are logged, sign NDA and notify who they are visiting without needing someone to be there

Pros

Ease of setup with iPad and printer. Integrations to existing systems (AD, HipChat). User experience for guests, they love to use the system.

Cons

It was a bit expensive when we initially investigated the purchase but we managed to get a better price speaking to our account manager. Sometimes email notifications are delayed.

It was fast and reliable but printer was its downfall

Pros

Very easy to use and very user friendly. The overall quality of the image and software design looks much better than Proxyclick's App.

Cons

The printer application does not allow me to use an Airprinter for this app on my iPad and having a wireless connection was a must for me.

Envoy efficiently logs names, companies and times of visitors and automatically registers the in and out times (no more looking for clocks, or pulling out phones to check the time!) The automatic notification to hosts saves the Receptionist from calling, emailing or texting when guests arrive.

Very simple and easy to use, accurately keeps records of visitors.

Cons

When the screen is in landscape orientation, user has to scroll up to see next field

throw away your paper sign-in sheet!

We started using it about 6 months before the Covid-19 pandemic and we have never looked back! We were grateful to have it once we realized we needed touch-less sign in and digital records... it was sooo easy to adapt to the craziness of 2020.

I like that this software can be administered remotely and the updates automatically push to the ipad(s).

Congruency across the company and searchability is the biggest strength. Other benefits realized are customer visualization and presentation. We went from multiple clipboards to one inviting iPad.

Pros

Having the ability to see who is on-site in the instance of an emergency is the largest benefit. Real-time data, knowing who is in your building and who signed out. Having custom Logos, splash screen etc. really make it feel custom.

AM General is using Premium subscription which is the best value, but prefer the Enterprise because of its features. It was difficult to justify the extra cost. A customized subscription would suit us best but is not offered by envoy. Unable to deploy sign-in flows across the company and having to individually make everyone up. The duplicate/copy feature is limited.

Envoy

Envoy is the best thing I ever did for my front desk!

From the minute I expressed interest in the Envoy system, their customer support was on top of it answering every question I had with as well as being transparent about the capabilities of the system. I work in a residence hall on a college campus and we use Envoy to track our visitors- a huge safety concern and Envoy makes that easier for us.

Pros

I love the Dashboard. Super user friendly, the search feature is awesome, and I love that it uses an iPad for sign-ins rather than the staff doing the sign-in manually. The text feature works well for our students.

Cons

There are a few guest policy restrictions that we have currently that are a little difficult to manage with Envoy so it does rely on our staff to be very conscientious (such as, host residents are only able to sign in one guest at time but the Envoy system does not yet prevent a host resident from doing that. The Envoy team is working on it and we are hoping to have that in place soon!)
