It continuously overcharges tenants and then they feign being unable to remit any of the money charged.  

A lot of features were copied from older software products & do need improvement.

I have used this for years for all of my apartments I have rented, its nice that I can transfer my existing account to other complexes.

While I appreciate the continuous addition of new features and the convenience of automated processes, the lack of quick human response can be frustrating.

I have had a few issues but they were cleared up in a timly manner. And anything i wanted to change with the app was also done so by the company.

We expected more reliable service and better communication, especially regarding critical functionalities like payment processing.

I mean, if you like felony levels of theft going on then AppFolio is right for you.

We also had a very difficult time navigating them as they were less user friendly then websites like Squarespace, lead pages or wordpress.

This weekend they took away the ability to schedule a call.

The unit transfer functions could be more seamless. When a resident is moving apartments within the property, the charges and credits/payments often have to be carefully reviewed when completing a transfer to make sure the new unit's tenant ledger is correct.

I don’t like the customer service support process.

Our overall experience with AppFolio started off positive, but the sudden removal of credit card payment processing, without any warning, has been extremely disappointing.

Its make it so easy to see what is getting done and how quickly its getting done.

As a user, it's super easy to submit work tickets and pay your rent.

Not even a year into that contract we were told that we can either begin paying $1 per unit per month to continue to offer our tenants free ACH  or pass it on to them to pay a fee every time they pay online.  

After 9 days I asked that the support rep transfer my request to someone else as it still had not been fixed and the support person was providing multiple accounting adjustments based on the canned help file.

AppFolio is a good Property Management Software for apartment management.  

Implementing the software was as easy as it could have been. While it does take time and effort, the transition is certainly worth it for such a streamlined software solution.
