great, they checked in after purchase, did a orientation, cs seems on point thus far
easy to use ui, big buttons, isn't too robust for our needs
nothing yet! Lightweight program that should fit our needs vs paying thousands for something like MRI, Salesforce, or Yardi.

Overall, we are currently very pleased with the software.
The software allows us to maintain homeowner information and bill for quarterly dues. Transactions and expenses are managed in the general ledger and provides useful reports.
Homeowners are regarded as tenants and dues are managed as leases. It is really just a label issue, but it is still confusing for some owners using the portal. Being a relatively new HOA, we were able to enter historical data back to inception so that all financial data, income and expenses are in one place.

Can’t say enough great things about their software and support.
This software has the best customer service than any other PMS I’ve worked with. I’ve used Yardi, AppFolio, and Buildium in previous companies, and I never had a great experience when I needed help. Sure, they would answer my questions, but it could take anywhere from a few hours to days. With doorloop, it’s not unusual to get an answer within minutes. These are also American English speaking reps that are in the same timezone as us. Even though they don’t offer support on weekends, they still respond to my tickets if it’s important.
Although it’s a good security feature, I don’t want to always have to login with a code sent to my phone. I wish the industry in general came up with an easier method (webcam face recognition?).

I would recommend them to anyone managing properties: for the portal organization, one stop shop feel, lease management, and remote usefulness!
User friendly throughout. It makes it easy to manage properties remotely.
The accounting side of the software is tricky.

Love the overall performance of the software and the personalized onboarding process.
The ease of organizing prospects and tenants. Collecting rents and alerts and announcements
I would like to see lease renewals linked to tenants emails and alerts sent to tenants when renewals are coming due. Would also like to see rents and security deposits able to be directly deposited into operating and escrow deposits as directed.

I have saved time, money and can manage my business wherever I am now. Whether that is in my office, at a building or in my car.
Being able to view the tenant's portal. I also liked the variety of the reports how much this simplified things. The lack of redundancy/repetition in the accounting.
I wish that there was the ability to email the owner's statements directly from the software. That I was able to direct pay the owners from the software (similar to how the tenants are able to pay into the software). That the website service had become operational.

Its been a great product to work with. Team members and staff of doorloop are very proactive and through the chat feature its wasy to get questions answered
I love how easy it was to get started. It allowed me the confidence to move forward with worrying about my renters and making sure from the renters end it was easy to use. So glad I found this platform

We have loved using this software and plan to continue to use it.
It is very user-friendly and flows nicely. It allows we to visualize all aspects of our business in a cohesive way and helps me to stay organized and keep track of our expenses.
I wish there weren't different tiered brackets with higher associated fees. Even the basic plan is a bit much for our budget and we don't get access to phone support and additional features.

It is user friendly. Also, if you do need assistance, you can always reach the company. They make you feel like your business is important and matters to them. I am very pleased with every aspect of the DOORLOOP

Online records are a new thing for our staff. It is a positive experience thus far.
This software is very user friendly and easy to navigate
The only drawback I have experienced so far is the way that the bank reconciliation works within the software. I have a Type "A" personality that likes to balance to the penny each month. Unfortunately, bank balancing is not set up very efficiently in the Doorloop software.

I have used a variety of the larger property management software and was skeptical that a smaller company could provide a product that would in fact fit all of my needs including accounting, lease tracking, maintenance, etc. Not only has DoorLoop met by expectations, but has exceeded them. The customer service continues to be incredible and the platform is easy to use and very intuitive, making figuring out a new component seamless. I would highly recommend DoorLoop to a small user (under 100 units)!
The customer service has been fantastic and the product is very intuitive. Accounting functions are straightforward and easy to use for someone like me who is not a formally trained accountant.
There is nothing that I have found displeasing about the software thus far.

I wish I could see what everything looks like from the tenants point of view - wish there was a "tenant mode" where you could explore how everything works so I know if I am doing it correctly or not.

The tenant portal allows tenants to see payment and bill history to avoid the phone call interpretations of rental statements. The automatic billing of rents, late fees and credits is a time saver.
Text message tracking would allow the software to streamline the eviction court preparation process.

My onboarding experience has been great! [SENSITIVE CONTENT] has been amazing and very helpful with training and support. I am still learning the software, but it has been very user friendly thus far and I am excited to get all the residents using the portal and paying online!
The accounting aspects of the software is user friendly and I like the ease in imputing the resident information.
Nothing as a con found so far as I just started using the software.

Easy easy easy
One-click global search for all of my properties (including, tenants, vendors, and much more) saves me so much time. The tenant portal, where I can communicate with my tenants, has also made me much more organized.
Would be great if there was a one-click option that would help me migrate over my data from the previous software I was using (not sure that any software actually has that feature); but not really not a big deal.

No software can do every single thing I ever imagined, but with their API, I can most likely accomplish it.
Definitely the technology of the entire platform. Being a property manager who dabbles in software development, I wanted a software that used the latest and great tech stack that was fast, responsive, mobile-friendly, and could keep up with our needs as we scale the business and our portfolio.
API documentation could be improved, but I figured it out.

My experience has been very good because of the team. I am still confused with some of the software and reports but this is my first dive I. To property management.
This software has one huge advantage and that’s the customer service. Free unlimited one on one training sessions is worth its weight in gold. A lot of software out there on the market but none with this level of training.
I would say thier is a major learning curve. The software is still evolving so there is things it doesn't have that it needs but is in the works.

Overall experience is excellent.
What I like most is that the software feels and works as though it was constructed with all of these things in mind. All sections are linked together, and clicking on info anywhere takes you where you are trying to go. Global search feature is great. Ability to modify the chart of accounts is clutch. Support is fantastic so far.
The merchant account application is not something I've had to do or pay for with other software.

DoorLoop’s property management software is the best that I have ever used. Finally a property management software that feels and runs like it was built this century! Running accounting reports is super easy (and very quick) as is making/tracking maintenance requests.
Didn’t have every feature I was hoping for, like the ability for me to internally chat with my management team, but even still, I am beyond impressed.

The ease of navigating the software cannot be beat! I have used a variety of softwares over my career, but am new to property management. DoorLoop is so nice to use after using our prior software which is very cumbersome to manuever through.
The Reports options in how you can run reports should be expanded.

It is as I would have designed it if I knew how. Its the perfect software
It would be great if it had more options when it comes to personalizing notifications to tenants. I would like them to receive one before they are charged a late fee, for example. It has notifications before it charges the rent and once the late fee is applied, but not before. Silly small thing, but I cannot thing of anything else right now
