If you have a clinic of more than one practitioner I do not recommend using this booking system. While the price is inexpensive there are constant glitches that will change booking settings, the reminders will remind of appointments on the wrong date, and you soon realize that you get what you paid for.

I love the abilility to manage my clients, do soap notes, and get credit cards on file to reduce cancellations or charge no shows.

ClinicSense is very helpful overall, but one scheduling drawback stands out. When clients go to book, they often default to a 60-minute massage. If a 60-minute slot doesn’t fit, the system shows me as unavailable — even though I might have room for a 30- or 45-minute session.

For example, rather than use the excellent electronic note keeping system for client records, (soap notes,) I prefer to make a printout of a client file and write notes with a pen.

As an example, if I work Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm now and I want to change to Monday through Thursday, 1pm to 8pm in the new year, I can't set that and have my online schedule reflect this correctly.

Also, I like to new wait list feature, it allows my  clients to add themselves to the waitlist for convenience.

Right now if I need to provide the file to a lawyer (for example), I need to download each treatment note separately, which for clients who have been coming to me for years can take a lot of time.

It is very user friendly, the short codes when doing notes, appointment reminders to clients (they also enjoy that) and sending out forms to clients

They are fast and easy to deal with customer service wise, they transferred all of my clients over with no extra mark-up- and when I had trouble navigating the site and working out the links they sent me a personalized video ironing out the problem in MINUTES.

The app doesn’t have a way to write client notes so I either need to have a laptop at my office or wait until I get home to enter notes.

Second, writing SOAP notes on mobile can be a bit difficult. While notes can be entered through the website, it’s not very smooth on a phone.

So if i cfrate a holiday card and want to put it in my email, i can not attach the file anymore.

When scheduling on my phone if the app is left open I have to reset my phone which can be a bit inconvenient. But, its not a huge time delay to do that.
