The all-in-one platform is also incredibly user-friendly, integrating everything from invoicing and recurring billing to a virtual terminal in one dashboard.

Overall, I was able to get my rate reduced to where I need it to be as a small business owner and [sensitive content hidden] was very professional and helpful following up with me via phone as well as email to close the loop.

The pricing structure is clearer, support is more accessible, and you actually feel like a valued customer rather than just an account number. If you’re comparing payment platforms, Stax is hands-down a better experience than Stripe and others in the space.

We had to collect over $150,000 from past payments because of your setup error which you blamed on clover … bottom line if we never switched to stax I would be $12,000

I requested a two month membership refund (which wouldnt even cover the cost of money I had to borrow to float this cashflow nightmare) and they refused. If you own a small business and credit card processing is an important part of cashflow DO NOT USE STAX

Portal access can't be set up for different locations by me (admin) and we have to reach out to a STAX rep to get this set up.

My only complaint is they have not updated system to integrate with auto matching payments to QB in 8 years....maybe needs a little more research/development.

The thing I like least about Stax is that is does not integrate with Quickbooks by auto matching the transactions.

While Stax is becoming a larger and larger you still maintain communications with their fantastic US based support team who will do EVERYTHING in their power to chase down any issue you may have.

Rate changes can be hard to follow however that is due to the underlying processor changing and Stax works with you to ensure smooth processing.

It took months and proably 20+ emails and 20+ phone calls just for Stax to tell us they're keeping the more than $10,000 in improper fees charged to us after we have in writing that these fees would not be added back to our accounts.

I originally worked with Cole but the ticket got closed out and I wasn't able to resolve the issue while working with him directly.

Was upset about the situation called 10 times submitted paperwork 3 times and it took a full month to get it in order

Overall, more training of other staff members is necessary to help them improve their communication and problem-solving skills.

Took me 14 days to for them to release my funds. But you can bet they took there fees and monthly membership out right on time (before they released the funds).

After all the fees from onboarding, etc, I think the actual annual savings was closer to $3,000.

Their billing policies are less than optimal.   If you don't press them on billing issues, they won't get resolved.

Payouts are consistent, fees are clear, and the tools save time versus other processors we’ve tried.

They changed our fees despite sending us email at time if their merger that everything would stay the same. When we asked for some discounts, they dragged their feet but keeping our hopes up by saying specialists would reach out regarding special discounts.

The variety of platforms to which I can maintain and use for processing cards is fantastic.  

Cost Savings: The subscription-based pricing is the main draw.

The follow up from customer support wasn't as great. but this was all to do with the clover customer support, they tried to do their best.

We realized nothing was coming into the bank account and it cost us an enormous sum of income.

They do not offer 24/7 customer service and there is no direct phone line to any human being.  

I was told everything would automatically transfer over from our old processor.

Also, I'm a private practice owner, so I think that Stax isn't primarily meant for my type of business, so that has made it a little tricky.
