I like that Shopmonkey has great customer support team that is highly responsive which is very essential as employees do not face any challenges that could cause downtime.

Where to start with this, horrible account reports, integration errors, constant client complaints, no away messages, very antiquated, no management reports for over runs on labor times missed punch outs anything

They apparently have no concept of customer service and "continuity"... just got a call from [sensitive content hidden] when I was "told" that [sensitive content hidden] was my account manager....

when i am not able to use license plate to link the vehicle and i have to make the entire work order manually ,and reported the issue couple of times and no one is able to do nothing ,where as other software like all data also using Carfax are able to decode those same vehicles

The biggest win for us in using Shopmonkey is that it allows us to seamless manage our customer service, work order management, and customer billing through an easy to use interface.

Started off good and than just keeps getting worse have asked to cancel for 2 months now ans still not canceled and they have charged a old card thats not on the account anymore for a subscription i canceled and of course cant get a hold of anyone .

What I mean by that is the system requires you to put in parts cost twice, and lets say you add parts invoices there is no way to guarantee that all those parts costs are accounted for.

UNABLE TO PRINT INFO PROPERLYWe do a lot of head gasket repairs at our location and the fact I can't print out torque sequences for my technicians is disappointing.

The convoluted processes and programming are just not worth the cost.

They have really thought out and launched enough versions by now to have covered the many features that now make my business digital and 'one version of the truth' for accountability and data management.  

On a side note Customer service is really responsive and gets the job done as far as whatever is within their abilities but I feel like I should not have to contact them as frequently as I do to report as many issues with the program and hope for changes that have not happened since we started using the program.

We eventually just had Techs log into the website from a mobile phone and we gave older employees big tablets.  

Being able to start quote/estimates and carry them through all the way to the finished invoice is great.

The customer interaction part or the software is good

The Point of sale for parts only is making us have to hold a double inventory management system.

the system does not correctly export to QuickBooks with parts cost which is an accounting nightmare.

One the greatest features is it's ability to track procurement processes.

The labor rates aren't very prevalent for heavy duty, and so far the parts procurement piece hasn't pulled through either.

They are just not super important for how we perform our work as well as preferring Quickbooks for inventory management.

Sometimes things seem to lag, and can create confusion between team members because things haven't loaded on their side.

I love the appointment reminders and how easy it is to send estimates and invoices as well as get authorization for services.

That I can’t get parts tech to sync with it for some reason , I’m used to ro , writer , parts are all linked to the system and you just scroll and pick from each vendor and check the prices all at once , nothing extravagant, but helped time wise

The ability to give my customers accurate quotes and turn the quote into the work order/invoice saved me so much time. And being able to put the VIN in fills in all the rest of the information on the car right then.

The reports i need to generate for an audit works awesome with all dates and miles as well as repair details all on the report for DOT audits
