After 9 years of being a customer the latest software issue is causing major issues with our restaurant.. custom order request line items appear on every line item from previous ticket.. after waiting 3 weeks for a fix, Customer Service told us it was a "Low Priority" for them and have no timeline when it will be fixed.

This means, if you sell 5 t-shirts styles and there are 5 sizes for each style, you can't see one report of the t-shirts you sold yesterday.  

The Talech reports only allow you to look at 20 items at once.  

When it wasn't being overrun with bugs, the register layout was decent.  

Talech didn’t seem to care about this issue but it cost my business thousands of dollars in lost revenue because of the glitch.

It’s been almost 3 weeks waiting in hopeless, we got lots of customers upset and this also hurts our business a lot.

Slow service and taking too much time to handle customers issues

I couldn’t believe a big company like Elavon will handle customers issues without care & without professionalism like this.

Elavon & Talech kept blaming each other and the gift card issues still here.

EVEN WHEN YOU REACH OUT TO MANAGEMENT, THEY DO NOT CALL BACK.

ONCE THEY HAVE THE "SALE" YOU BECOME INVISIBLE TO THEM.

I reached out to Manager and customer service again.

The report part of their system is fairly easy to navigate.

YOU WILL NOT GET CALLS BACK AND THEY TRY TO SAY IT WAS AN ELAVON ISSUE!

We don’t normally write a bad review but we got really bad experience with Elavon as well as Talech!

Still believe there are many other organizations out there will offer better service than Elavon & Talech!

Customer service to resolve critical issues with mis-handling credit card information, not admitting a problem and even accusing everyone else for our loss of money.

I can quickly review sales and inventory for what needs to be ordered.

We can review their previous purchases and determine if they already bought something they need.

They get a receipt that works well with the rebate program from my supplier.

The hours and hours trying to get issues resolved with customer support that knowledge of the product.

They say it is 24 hr support but not for start up/onboarding.  

We had to switch (otherwise we would have continued to lose money)  and Talech will not even refund our monthly charges to help offset their error.

Large reports are difficult to obtain, and when we require special reports, it can be challenging to acquire them.

During week I could call Regions Bank (where I purchased unit) & get questions answered.

This resulted in over $500 in tabs that cant be closed... not even by Talech themselves...  

Works well for a front end register, but getting issues resolved with tech support just NEVER happens.   

Talech promised they would improve their product.

A bit diff if on weekends & selling product at a sales event.

Talech was a way for us to process credit card payments outside of our office for an event we held.

The support is HORRIBLE.   While they say they offer 24X7 support, pretty much every single call in has been told that it's 48 hours to get any resolution.  

Software interface is minimal and easy to navigate.

Something as simple as opening a seasonal store results in HOURS of getting passed around trying to figure out how to get it working.

There has been no focus done to see the glitches and errors are fixed.

The software is priced good and has all the features under one umbrella for a restaurant user.

Not only is this bad service... but stealing!!!

After a while a break down of the card readers will ruin your day very quickly.   If you have a customer that needs a refund you won't be able to do it unless the card reader works.

something new breaks every day on the back end and when I call customer service they are unable to help me and instead of resolving it, they tell me there is a glitch in my system and that theres nothing they can do.

It’s a basic system with little functionality at a high price.

Horrible customer service spoke with one person that promised to move it up in priority to tier 2 people and after waiting two days for a call back we called back and they had no record of the call.  

Customer service was great and super responsive, but overall the product wasn’t great.

I told the sale agent I just want fish the year….Never listen to you at all,Hidden fees, Changed me 3 times the equipment in less then a year,Very slow equipment, Down 3 time in less 6 months I lost like a 1000 dollars because I can’t charge my clients….They charge me around 3000 dollars because the said never got the equipment back…Plus that I need to pay the second year fees!!!I want spoke to the manager, made a 4 times call and the manager still is busy!!!Will call you back and still I am waiting for the call since last pass 9 months!!!But still they want collet my money!!!!Now

Then needing to update tips (due to their system failures) it takes at least 3 days (has taken 3 weeks) to get those funds.

I’ve been using harbortouch since 2017, our business is closing due to Covid/economy.  

They claim that information is out there somewhere, but it is not evident at all.   If the date is missed, then Harbortouch will charge you monthly service fees for the full year, even if you aren't using their services.  

Shift 4 has ruined what was a great user friendly  point of sale! If you are a larger bar or restaurant 3 bars  6 or 7 bartenders expect pissed off bartenders the system will not allow your bartenders to separate tabs!

System wasn't getting the usage as we thought it would when signing up the first question asked was would theor be a contract because we weren't looking to be locked into anything he assured us there was no contract and that we could cancel at anytime.

They continue to charge me and will not send me the cancel forms required after several phone calls. Once they made the sale it's all down hill from there.

I’ve tried cancelling harbortouch for over a month.  

Was easy to get, sales staff was good and supported what they could after sale.

Asked for a supervisor or someone higher reps tell us there is no one higher up which is a bunch of bs working in leadership I knw Hands down there is ALWAYS someone higher up to address issues. Whether by email or call..Reps are very rude.

They won't take no for an answer, I completed my contract signed in 2017 but, they argue I should have terminated it one month before it expired, therefore it automatically renews.  

It's been almost a week now and we still can't sign on to generate a report to pay or state sales tax.

Wait time is over 30 minutes and it’s impossible to get a hold of someone when it’s critical.

Harbortouch refuses to allow their services to be cancelled other than on an annual basis.  

Who sues customers to stay with them??   If a customer elects not to do business with me, that is fine.

I had to remember not to call the number on the statement if I had any questions.

I've be trying to cancel and send back the equipment (that's still in the box) for the last 2 months.

You get nothing but the runaround and they will not allow you to speak to a manager/supervisor.
