PriceEdge is a price optimization tool for creating, managing, testing, and rearranging price strategies with modules for data collection, price strategy creation, and analysis. The three modules within PriceEdge - Collect, Price, and Analyze - provide the tools for collecting data on competitors pricing, creating the price logic that works best for the business, and analyzing the effect of implementing new pricing strategies.

PriceEdge’s Collect module allows users to monitor their competitors by deploying a crawler to collect and track price information from competitor websites. Data collected by the crawler is stored within the PriceEdge system and price suggestions are automatically generated based on the data.

To facilitate the creation and implementation of new price logic, the PriceEdge Price module combines market data with attribute-based pricing to calculate the best price logic for the business. Users can define dynamic rounding rules, minimum margin rules and more, and price strategies can be categorized and filtered for ease of organization. Within PriceEdge, periodical price revisions can be scheduled and workflows can be automated with the aim of making day-to-day pricing as smooth as possible.

The PriceEdge Analyze module allows users to test new pricing strategies to track the effects of new plans and simulate proposed price logics to visualize their predicted effect before implementing them. Reports can be provided to indicate areas for price improvement as well as to measure current price effectiveness, and provide an overview of price impact over time.
